The inverto black ultra. Swapped the samson on my 7 west with a black ultra a week ago and it equals or betters the samson across a range of tps.

I have an Inverto black ultra single, but was at Luthuli Avenue yesterday seeing what was there in terms of supposedly low noise Ku LNBs. I bought a STARLIFE SL-101 HD, on the box it claims noise 0.1db (the lower the number the better), and Gain: 70db (the higher the number the better). I paid Kshs 300 for it, although in another shop they were asking kshs 500. I also bought a Fuji HD LNB. With Nilesat 201 on my 1.35m offset dish, all three LNBs, (Inverto, Fuji and Starlife) performed roughly the same - I think the Starlife was slightly better than the other two, although the weather kept changing so it was impossible to do a strict comparison.

Hi Regiment Jey. That is interesting, would you mind sharing with us the web address where you obtained the new software. I wonder if the receiver is really more sensitive, or whether the new firmware has changed the GUI (graphic user interface) so that what was showing as 50% quality before now shows as 60%? Have you been able to receive any Sats/transponders that you could not receive before upgrading the software?

No bad intention, i m not the moderator but i think this is a free to air site where we share knowledge, not advertisement. Or is there something am not getting?
Sorry for late reply. kennis tv not there. Etv ghana I believe you require a bigger dish; mine is 90cm and am not getting it in nairobi. etv ethiopia and fashion tv are still there. Other channels include: 316 tv, the infinity package, ait sports,ait international,family tv1 & 2, wassaman,france 24 english, bride tv, tbn europe and much more for free.
