By the way there are sub forums here where Swahili is the only language, so i would prefer those who feel like they have to post in Swahili only should post there.

eeeh...yes,and no.The poster(Kingdavidtheone )asked a simple question in kiswahili and one of the respondents answered in kiswahili,which means he understands the language.And yes the forum is mainly english.but it's an east african forum so kiswahili can be used.Maybe the person replying can do so in english.Let's consider the other side of the argument-the person asking might also not be very confident in his english,so should we also exclude him?I know there are other tech swahili threads on this site but they do not possess a deep pool of participants and expertise like this one.

I have participated in other sat forums and i noted they have regional biases.For example a pakistani or naija sat forum may be in english,but the posters often use pakistani/naija examples, jargon and slangwords which means a non-pakistani/naija could have difficulties following some of the conversations.

Lastly Kiswahili is an african language(which means we should promote and take pride in it)that is increasingly becoming international,so let's accomodate each other in the spirit of african brotherhood.It is always useful to remember that the english language,though it is the global language of business,tech,science and so on and is therefore very crucial, still remains an imperialistic tool that is used to subjugate other languages and cultures while propagating and popularizing western\Caucasian values, cultures and viewpoints.Na kama waafrika ni vyema tujizatiti kuelewa na kuenzi hii lugha yetu tukufu.
