Iam thinking of buying a redline ts3000 decoder from maxsat.co.uk. The box has a 1yr iptv account and it needs only a stable 3g internet speed of 100kbps (according to the seller info). With the account one is capable of watching 360 tv channels around the globe. Can the box be the cost effective replacement to DTH (sat) tvs esp pay/sport tvs? Is there any legal restriction to iptv in east africa esp tanzania? Please kungu1 and other many more advise me. is there any1 using the box?. kungu1 i sent u a pm two days ago.

Seems Redline ts 3000 is an awesome receiver with 3rd party applications.
1 Year IPTV is good especially if the channels are in English.

I have SuperBox s750 HD which also offers IPTV.
The receiver is underSpark 7111 receivers (like Golden Media, Superbox, Dynavision and Startrack 2020)

Another good receiver for IPTV Amiko Alien like model SHD-8900 spark..
Comes loaded with 350+ IPTV channels .

I use Airtel 3G unlimited internet bundle for iptv access on spark receiver as the speeds they offer are high and reasonable priced compared to other providers around.

The main restriction i have come upon is viewing HD channels which require internet speeds from 1mps upwards for smooth operation.
Another restriction channel protection due to rights restrictions which can be bypassed by changing your router ip address to reflect that you are reside in the same region where the channel is offered ie BBC online channels.

IPTV cant beat Sat tv in terms of cost effectiveness as the are monthly internet access charges on iptv versus sat reception.
IPTV consumes alot of data thus one would need to be on unlimited internet bundle to avoid high costs on mb package.

I tried to patch an astrovox vsr 290 plus but with no success.Can anyone assist.Secondly what does the patch do?

I have been experiencing scenarios where my astrovox vsr 9000 HD receiver loses signal with some channels when is not supposed to be the case. Yesterday i did a factory reset and the problem was sorted.I realized the old vsr 290 is quite handy when tracking a satellite better than the 9000HD.

Does the SRT 4922 HD have cccam options?

It took 4days via DHL. They have an escrow arrangement where the seller only gets the money after you as the buyer confirm two things: one, receipt of shipment and two, that the gadget received is what you ordered and is in perfect working condition.

It was sent on Monday last wk, arrived on Thursday evening and I collected on Friday.

Now, the CCTV channel you currently receive, from what satellite is it? Either way, if your northern sky is clear, try facing your dish in that general direction to receive the NileSats at 7West. It'll give you a good selection of movie, news and sports channels for free.

Try dishpointer.com to get the parameters (azimuth, elevation & LNB skew) to enable you align your equipment. If unsure, try contacting Freddygaz (on vegalinternational.com), I believe he resides near you and can assist.
