Hallo pals,
Anyone with information regarding epl mena rights for 2013/2014? I heard rumours that Aljazeera has acquired the rights though not confirmed. MP & SILVA have not issued any statement to confirm that.

This is a grey area.

do know why jazeera would announce on tv they have rights up to 2016 and have nothing official on website

The said channels are achievable in Nairobi using an offset dish measuring between 90 to 120 cm.

The above channels are (FTA) Free to Air

SO MUCH MORE FOR FREE!!!!!!

Thanks Kungu.

Are you able to nab E7WA & E8WA on same dish? I used to get the two birds using 90cm, but it seems the signal for E8WA has significantly reduced.Adjusting the dish to get E8WA compromises abu dhabi sports signal.

Hi, Why dont you try @ 10E Eutelsat 10A ;3738 R 7018 DVB S2 /8PSK Mpeg 4.. KissTV,KTN,NTV,K24, KBC I discovered I have to input the tp manually on my SRT 4922 as it cant blind scan this sat.Remember to remove the teflon from the LNB.You'll need a receiver capable of receiving the multistream signal from IS22 for the DTT signals !! Its what the professionals use http://www.newtec.eu/backend/files/leaflet/HZ914 leaflet R4.pdf use this for satellite dish alignment http://www.satlex.de/en/azel_calc.html or http://www.satsig.net/ssazelm.htm.

Hi I'm not conversant to using sat finder.may be you can explain to me further or post a pic.

Hi,
You need to know your location coordinates( Latitude and Longitude), the satellite orbit location and maybe your dish size
So if i;, in dadaab wanting to Lock to IS 22 My location is 0.0543degN ,40.31degE IS 22 is at 72.1degE
You also need to understand what is azimuth

http://www.satsig.net/azelhelp.htm

and elevation and polarisation tilt

http://www.satsig.net/polangle.htm

So when you input your data and press calculate you get

which gives you your azimuth and elevation of your dish, or with stasigin addition it also give the lnb tilt

with satlex,

http://www.satlex.de/en/azel_calc-params.html?satlo=&user_satlo=72.1&user_satlo_dir=E&location=&la=0.0543&lo=40.3&country_code=ke&diam_w=180&diam_h=180

it even gives you the diagram of how your setup will look like, note with satlex the lnb tilt(polarisation tilt )is as when veiwd from behind the dish facing the satellite
