Air Transport Contributes US$3.2bn per year to Kenya's GDP!

Air Transport Contributes US$3.2bn per year to Kenya's GDP!

For the person who boasting to know more about economics will know the different between commodity and raw material.

BTW, when you say your exporting fresh cut tea, do you even understand how tea is processed? Are those leave been export the very day they're pulled from the tree? Aren't they been dried under the sun? Aren't they been sorted? Aren't they been chopped into mall granulate? What are those tea processing plant in Kenya doing.
And that's why I'll enlighten you, a commodity is a tradable raw material, commonly used as inputs for other goods.

The tea processing firms in Kenya process tea for local and regional consumption, but EU tied trade and things like EURO-GAP inhibit selling processed goods there. This being the point, the west under develops developing countries by purchasing raw materials or intermediate goods only to process and resell them at much higher prices. If you didn't know that then now you know.

Wow, you Kenyans are so deluded. Isn't it Kenya's who are complaining about work permit in Tanzania to be too expensive? We said this countless of times, if there Tanzania's in Kenya and they are there illegally, send them back.
You talk of delusions yet your stay in Kenya was driven by the primary goal of pursuit of better life. And there are more than 500,000 Tanzanians in Kenya with such a goal.

The vast majority of Kenyans in Tz are in the corporate world, in pursuit of business opportunities and expanding their reach. That's why businesses are protesting the exorbitant permit charges, not some insufficiently clothed deranged beggers.

Did you know that Kenya is the 3rd largest source of FDI to TZ?

Tanzania tops in foreign investments into the region

Ever sat down and wondered why they're cheaper in the 1st place?

Kenyan restricts imports of cars to 8yrs since the date of manufacter so as to improve local production by reducing dumping of very cheap old cars. Tz and Ug on the other hand allow you to import anything that has an engine and moves, whether its the agemate of Mugabe or not. And its common sense that very old is also very cheap but also with a very short lifespan. Some Kenyans being crafty go buy the old cars from ug and Tz then drive them home.

Na ni magari kidogo sana

Few years back i saw with my eyes tea written made in Kenya (not a product of Kenya) in Munich supermarket, but I'll let you think what you want to think.

So Tanzania was right to reject EPA deal from what you've just wrote. Yes?

You're trying so hard to sugarcoat the presence of Kenyan's in Tanzania, they are not all millionaires and business owners. We have driver, cook, turn boys and criminals too. In fact half of the companies you're talking about are multinational and some of them are closing shop for underinvestment.

Sad of you to think like that, I don't believed cross country passenger buses are old, I don't see container carrying truck are old either. If Kenya doesn't allows over 8yrs old cars into there roads, how will they allow an old cars from Tanzania or Uganda to roam on it's roads. You don't make any sense.

What you've fail to tell us so far and that was our primary argument. Were is Kenya ahead to Tanzania? Human development? Easy access to healthcare, education, trade, food security, security of the people, access to loans, housing etc. You've tendency of hopping around issues, prove to us that Tanzania is sitting down envy Kenya.

I've also seen ketepa tea in the US, but that's very little a portion to fool the public eye, the bulk of it is semi or completely unprocessed.

That EPA deal is full of crap, it's a death deal to our little manufacturing sector just so that we can sell fresh cut flowers and unprocessed tea. We should have sat down collectively as the EAC and negotiated a better deal.

What happened where some accepted the crap since they had some billions in revenues to lose while others being too underdeveloped to be tariffed for their exports unilaterally rejected the deal showed the west how disunited we are.

EAC countries' leaders are very stupid. Did the Kenyan government even think of how devasted our manufacturing will be once non-tarrifed European commodities flood in? Did the Tz government think it'll be an LDC forever and thus never face tarrifs and quotas on its production?

Wow, how noble of you to say EPA was mistake, I'm shocked because no Kenyan here in JF have publicly admitted that EPA up to no good.

Seriously dude, do you even read the comments you reply to. Answering the same question again and again is really of putting. I'll answer this for the very last time in as comprehensive a way as possible, maybe you'll get it this time

I don't argue down plain facts, that EPA has very crappy terms. Both Tz and Ke were very idiotic taking unilateral decisions and dividing up the region instead of uniting and negotiating a better deal.

You should try and see facts for what they are too, Kenya is more advanced than Tanzania, whether you want it to or not. Denying it won't change the facts at all.

True definition of throwing toys out of pram.

Haha, so all this time you been yapping that Kenya is ahead of Tanzania by 0.3% margin?? I haven't even cross check those data but seriously ?? Life expectancy 62TZ vs 64KE? Child mortality 38TZ vs 43KE? Well, this proves me right, Kenya ahead to Tanzania for what exactly.

Leave Tanzania out of ur stupid blame! It's Uhuruto that pushed ur country to sign the deal thinking the EU will come n open factories in Kenya. Tanzania has actually done a favor to the region.
