An Open Letter to Her Excellency Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, President of the United Republic of Tanzania

Mnapoteza muda bure.

Huyu mpaka anamaliza uongoz wake nchi itakuwa pabaya kuliko alivyoikuta, kiufupi hafai.

Ushauri endelezeni hatowasikia lkn endeleen atauona tu ushauri wenu maana huwa anapitia humu na najua ana ID feki humu anatumia kusoma maandiko mengi na si ajabu na yeye ni miongon mwa watoa thread humu humu.

The pump price could be reduced if only Samia and her regime could account for proper use of public funds.

On March after receiving the CAG report it was stated that there was a misappropriation of public funds on personal basis and nobody was held responsible for that.

So now we demand surcharge of promoters , executors and consumers of the funds illegally transferred from the national treasury to private accounts which is a breach of public finance act.

Moreover we can now claim repatriation of public funds stashed in offshore accounts of CCM oligarchs.

The recovered funds will now be used to supplement and reduce the taxes and levies implenented and this could at least lower the pump price.

This is not an advice to any body! It is a statement. In your imagination to whom was the so called advice directed to?
I apologize if I misunderstood the context of your statement. It seemed to carry a tone that could be interpreted as directed towards someone. If it's a general statement, then I appreciate the clarification. However, let's always strive to maintain respectful communication even when expressing opinions or making statements.

The rise in pump prices is often influenced by various global and economic factors. Fluctuations in international oil prices, supply and demand dynamics, geopolitical tensions, and currency exchange rates can all impact fuel prices.
Instead of solely attributing the rise in pump prices to local issues, it's also essential to acknowledge the global nature of the oil market. While holding leaders accountable is important, it's equally important to understand the complexity of the energy market and its effects on local prices.

Rather than focusing solely on complaints about the government, it could be beneficial to engage in discussions about diversifying energy sources, promoting fuel efficiency, and exploring sustainable transportation alternatives. This approach not only addresses the immediate concern of pump prices but also contributes to long-term solutions for energy stability and cost control.

Accountability of public funds is among the prequisites of a visionary government.

In the midst of high pump price , the same government is hosting useless carnivals in the island whereby even energy cartels have gathered and wasting millions of public funds on useless activity.

Since it is crystal clear the executive is no longer untouchable then we must initiate constitutional reforms so that we can surcharge the promoters ,executors and consumers of public funds.

I agree that accountability is a fundamental pillar of visionary governance. The responsible and transparent use of public funds is essential for the well-being and trust of the citizens.

Regarding the concerns about hosting carnivals and the allocation of public funds, it's important for the government to strike a balance between promoting cultural and social activities and ensuring fiscal responsibility, especially during times of economic challenges like high pump prices.

Initiating constitutional reforms to enable the surcharging of those involved in misappropriation of public funds is a proactive step towards accountability. Such reforms can help in deterring corruption and strengthening the legal framework for holding individuals accountable.

However, it's also essential to engage in constructive dialogue and democratic processes to bring about these reforms, ensuring that they align with the principles of justice and fairness. Public participation and consensus-building can contribute to the success of such initiatives.
