Seychelles, Mauritius and Equatorial Guinea would be Africa's wealthiest countries (WE ALL KNOW THAT IS UNTRUE).

Also, citizens in those countries you have listed as having a higher GDP per capita are wealthier. Obviously at that higher level it doesn't matter.
eg. a resident of the US would not mind 'downgrading to the UK', since despite the lower gdp per capita, they are still wealthy.

Lakini, here in Africa, the case is very different. The only reason your GDP is higher than say Namibia is because of your higher population. Otherwise, there is no Namibian in his right mind who would dream of leaving their country to settle in Tanzania.

Same case with Nigeria and to some extent Ethiopia. They are up there because of their high population, but their countries are shit.

Kumbuka, Tanzania has the highest population of people living in extreme poverty in SADC. And top 3 in Africa.
