TPS Eastern Africa Ltd has shareholders all the way to Mauritius. It's not Kenyan rather East African in stake ownership! Get that fool!

A lot of kenyan companies have "east africa ltd" mainly because they are large enough to spread across eac. We also have east africa cables which is kenyan and owned by Transcentury(a kenyan investment company) but it is also listed in Uganda. Companies cross list to widen their avenues of raising capital. sarova group of hotels ticker tps east africa plc is majority owned by Kenyans ie. Vohra Family, several banks eg KCB, equity.

Actually establishments in Tanzania r the one keeping Serena Hotels surviving! They would have been long gone!

Now you are clutching on straws after failing in your first argument. You want to divert attention to another topic about revenues.There is no where in their reports that say they rely on Tanzania, in fact it says Tanzania and Kampala registered improved growth while zanzibar regained market share. I know english is hard for you, but try to hide the fact that you can not comprehend english. sit down be humble and you might learn a thing or two.

I never said kenyan don't own any hotel in Zanzibar, i asked for an example of the hotel they owned, because you guys think Kenyans were the one who promoted tourism sector in Zanzibar by owning hotels. Now mention other hotels owned by Kenyans.

a) Vodacom owns 35%, GOK owns 40% of safaricom and it was part of Posta Kenya before vodafone came in as an investor and finally early last year vodafone sold their shares to vodacom south africa.
b) eabl is owned 50.03 % by diageo yes since 2000, it was founded by the Kenyan Dodd family as KBL (Kenya breweries Ltd), KBL bought Tanganyika Breweries in 1935 and 1936 leading to the creation of the East African Breweries Limited (EABL). By 1990, the Dodd family had reduced their shareholding and most of the shareholders were Kenyan and the company was very successful.

Who said that? I have said no such thing. You are making illogical leaps of thought. I simply gave you an example of a kenyan hotel in zanzibar after you implied that there are no Kenyan hotels in zanzibar and i also gave you another kenyan hotel chain looking to openn in zanzibar. Where in that statement have i said what you just incinuated?
