Hongereni vijana kwa kuchaguliwa chuo..niliwahi kusoma chuo hiko...muda kidogo umepita...but it is the best university offering land related subject in Tanzania......am proud

Ww umechaguliwa Ardhi au wauliza tu?anyway hostel za chuo ni 120000/semister,vyumba vya kupang nje ni 60000 kuendlea ukoo,

Speaking of Bachelor of Municipal and Industrial services Engineering is referred to career that
prepare a person to become an expert in the provision of municipal utility services and protection of public health, safety, and the environmental protection in connection with industries, mines, and mineral processing facilities.

It addresses growing needs for non-industrial municipal services concerned with municipal infrastructure. This involves specifying, designing, constructing, and maintaining street, sidewalks, water supply networks, sewers, municipal solid waste management and disposal. It can also include the optimizing of garbage collection. Some of these disciplines overlap with other civil engineering specialties, however municipal engineering focuses on the coordination of these infrastructure networks and services, as they are often built simultaneously (for a given street or development project), and managed by the same municipal authority.

OBJECTIVES:
Objectives of this programme to prepare an engineers who can:-
Plan, design, and oversee the operation and maintenance of infrastructure and facilities
for utility services, health and safety protection, environmental protection, and related
services in mines and mineral processing facilities;

Provide the full range of engineering expertise pertinent to the provision and sustenance
of environmental and utility infrastructural services for industries; and

Plan, design, and oversee the operation and maintenance of municipal utility services
such as water supply, sanitation, and waste management, including health and
environmental protection.


POTENTIAL EMPLOYERS:
The programme is designed to prepare graduates who can work as environmental and utility services engineers for:-
· All ranges of industries;
· Mining and mineral processing companies;
· Municipal utility and environmental services providers (primarily municipal authorities);
· Waste management authorities,
· Water and sewerage authorities, and
· Consulting and contracting firms that provide municipal and industrial utility engineering services
· Occupational safety and health services (OSHA - Agency for Safety and Health at Work)
