I think you got yourself mixed up between Kikuyus and Wachaga … they share similar linguistic and culture..but no way Chaga people are farming in Kenya… leta picha tuone …

Everyone neutral I know who has visited TZ say the same thing … the place walks and smells poverty ..especially in the rural areas whereas every town is 90 % Uswazi … typical low level Third World country. You might encounter some shiny spots but they are very far in between… that’s a perfect analysis of modern Bongo… on contrary Kenya rural areas are in many ways well planned with modern houses whereas the towns might consist a section of informal settlements but that doesn’t reflect a majority of the built up urban areas unlike Tanzania. For example 5% of a Kenyan town might be unplanned settlement but in Tanzania it’s 90%…
