Ni miaka 20 sasa tokea kushuhudia fastest man on earth, hakuwa mwingine bali ni Ben Johnson, na alikimbia kwa sekunde 9.79, njemba fupi na iliyojaza. Rekodi hiyo haikutambuliwa kutokana na kutumia madawa.
Tokea miaka hiyo wimbi la madawa likawa kubwa na wengi walioingia kwenye mkumbo huo ni hao Wanyamwezi. Makocha wengi wa mbio fupi wakatafuta watu wafupi na waliojaza ili kukimbia mbio fupi.
Usain sasa amebadilisha historia yote ya mbio fupi, akiwa na urefu wa 6ft 5in ameweza kuweka rekodi mpya ya dunia kwa kukimbia mita 90 tu... Sijui siku atakayokimbia mita 100 itakuaje!
Wanyamwezi sasa mkimbilie kwenye genetic engineering ili muweze kutoa mnyamwezi wa kushindana na Usain Bolt.

Imesikitisha sana, walikuwa wakimbiaji 3 katika fainali, lakini kila mmoja alikimbia kivyake vyake, Ethopia, Eritrea na Kenya walionekana kama wana team work pale
LOL! it wasn't even close.
The Ethiopians are slowly dethroning the Kenyans as the Kings of Long Distance running. Once they start concentrating on the Marathon and Steeplechase the Kenyans will be toast.
What is it that we lack. It's obviously not money because the Ethiopians and Kenyans don't have much either. It's not environment, climate etc because ours is pretty similar to theirs. So what is it?
Again i think it comes down to poor leadership and general incompetence. Something we seem to be very good at.
Two of our guys put on a galant effort and looked like they were giving it thier all. The third guy was basically out of the race after the first three laps. Sad.

I'll say it again, if there was a medal for poor leadership and incompetence we would win the gold.
