Tanzania is one of the biggest/largest countries by area and population in Africa lakini ni maskini wa kutupwa kuiliko Rwanda. So hata kuwa na a useless large Port si ajabu.

Berth ya Kwanza imeshakamilika inafunguliwa October. Berth 2 and 3 inakimbizwa kama baisikeli ya kuibiwa na zitakamilika mwaka ujao. Berth 2 and 3 ndio hizi hapa chini. Kazi inafanywa usiku na mchana bila kupumzika.

Kwa hivyo anahitaji sana ukanda huu wetu hususan mbinu za kuendelea kufika kwenye hilo shamba lenu la bibi na Kongo.

The big question you be asking yourself is this one: What is the capacity of these five ports? This is a vital question because the port of Mombasa is handling more than your five ports combined. Consider also the fact that Kilindini harbor, which where the port of Mombasa is constrctured, is the deepest in east Africa. This means bigger ships can dock in Mombasa compared to any of your ports. Habari ndio hiyo

Kazi ya lamu mostly itakua taking cargo from big ships and then putting them on smaller ships to serve smaller ports. Kwavile its cheaper for a big ship to come from china to lamu and go back, than it visiting 5 smaller ports dropping containers. A smaller ship distributes the cargo to other ports.
Bila supporting infrastructure bado port inaeza fanya hio kazi vizuri.

Nakuamini unacho sema, Nacho pinga ni kwamba eti sasa Kenya tuaanze ku panic kwasababu Dar itakua kubwa kushinda Msa........ Ile picha ambayo REDEEMER alionyesha Mombasa tayari iko hio level ambayo ndo mnalenga kufika.. I.e depth of 15m, max length.. etc.. Alafu kuna jambo muhimu hapa hamkuongelea, "Number of Shipping lines calling" at the port, Kenya iko na 33 shipping lines calling at Msa port wakati Dar iko na 24! There's no such 32 berths thing in Lamu for the near future

Your Government has so far allocated KES 4.2 billion for construction works for just the first three berths. Your government is also in the stagnant process of mobilising more resources from its own revenue resources as well as from private sector investors through equity and debt including bonds while so far there is absolutely nill expectations from the desired customers to use the facility Ethiopia in particular shows absolutely zero interest

These three berths are being constructed by China Communications Construction Company at a cost of nearly $480 million means you need more than $6000 million and approximately 30 years of working in accordance with the time and resources used by the first three berths.
