Swali nyeti ni kwa Nini hawajalipwa?Mazao yote yanayozalishwa Tanzania yanamilikiwa na watanzania 100% sio ninyi mzungu katoka ulaya homeless and landless anakuja Kenya kuwafurusha wenyeji jangwani na kumiliki utajiri wote huku wenyeji wakifa njaa
Not necessarily, Mtu amabye anazalisha na kutengeneza bidhaa nyingi anahitaji malighafi nyingi zaidi.... Kuna vitu kama iron ore, metal sheets, aluminium ambavyo hata nyinyi huko Tz hamna, hivyo vitu hutumika kutengeneza chuma, mabati..nk utakuna sisi tuna import hizo malighafi mara mbili zaidi kuliko nyinyi...Tufanye comparisons kwenye perimeters za exports and imports kati ya Tanzania na Kenya
Export
Tanzania : $5.3 Billion
Kenya : $6.2 Billion
Kenya imeizidi Tanzania $900 million export value
Import
Tanzania : $8.1B
Kenya : $17.1B
Kenya imeizidi Tanzania $9 Billion import value (2.2 times of Tanzania)
Mimi sio mchumi lakini hapa Tanzania ipo juu kwenye urari wa biashara times billion of Kenya, huwezi kuuza nje 100 halafu hapo hapo unanua nje 300 ujiite kwamba upo vizuri, no
Imports
In 2017 Tanzania imported $8.17B, making it the 102nd largest importer in the world. During the last five years the imports of Tanzania have decreased at an annualized rate of -6.7%, from $11.6B in 2012 to $8.17B in 2017. The most recent imports are led by Refined Petroleum which represent 16.6% of the total imports of Tanzania, followed by Packaged Medicaments, which account for 4.1%.
Imports
In 2017 Kenya imported $17.1B, making it the 75th largest importer in the world. During the last five years the imports of Kenya have increased at an annualized rate of 3.7%, from $14.2B in 2012 to $17.1B in 2017. The most recent imports are led by Refined Petroleum which represent 14.2% of the total imports of Kenya, followed by Palm Oil, which account for 3.17%.
Hii ndo maana GDP yetu (the value of goods and services produced in one year) ni kubwa manake tuna produce vitu kwa wingi......

What we export is not directly related with what we import, So tukinunua raw material kama chuma haimaanishi kwamba tuta export chuma hicho hicho kama finished product...LOL so unanunua rawamaterial ya $17B
Unauza finished products za $6B then unajiona mjanja ahahaha
Upumbavu wa aina yake huu

Mbona hujaongelea kuhusu kuuza/kununua hapa ndani ya nchi???
The value of actual household consumption(Excludes commercial businesses) of goods and Services in Kenya is $71 Billion p.a while Tanzania only spends a measly $31B on household consumption of goods and Services.... Tofauti ni a freaking $40 Billion !!!!! Where do yo think the the raw materials for creating all that comes from , Turkana??

Households and NPISHs Final consumption expenditure (current US$) - Kenya, Tanzania | Data
Households and NPISHs Final consumption expenditure (current US$) - Kenya, Tanzania from The World Bank: Datadata.worldbank.org
Household final consumption expenditure is, the market value of all goods and services, including durable products (such as cars, washing machines, and home computers), purchased by households during one year.
I thought you exporting Cars, Complex Machines, Technology, Medical Equipments and the likes...kumbe ni confectinaries products, Processed milk, Peanuts Butter na Omo[emoji23] [emoji23] [emoji23] [emoji23]For a person who claims to be an economist and a Kenyan, your knowledge on matters economic is quite pedestrian. In the first eight months of 2019 Kenyan exports to the eac rose to a three year high of Sh77.32 billion.
Kenya imports raw materials from EAC countries but exports value added products to eac countries which fetch a higher price than raw materials eg We import a lot of ground nuts from Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda to plug a deficit, but we export peanut butter and peanut oils which fetch a higher price than the raw peanuts to these eac countries.
We export confectionary even after importing raw industrial sugar from eac countries eg chocolates, cakes, biscuits, candy etc.

kumbe huelewi afadhali hata uliowadharau.
I want whatever you guys are having. 20-0.Mimi nimekwama hapo kwa monkeys π΅π΅. Eti gold would still be exported even if the whole of Tanzania was 99% made up of monkeys! π π π Hii ni kali. JF sihami anytime soon
It's unfortunate that you have decided to look at it from one angle only - that of production. Who told you that everything that a country imports are raw materials that are used in producing goods to export to other countries? Some (if not most) of Kenya's imports are finished products.LOL so unanunua rawamaterial ya $17B
Unauza finished products za $6B then unajiona mjanja ahahaha
Upumbavu wa aina yake huu
What you don't understand is that there's something called "local consumption". Not everything you import is supposed to act as a raw material to produce an entirely new product for export. You cannot important computers as a "raw material" to make another product out of it.Lol how old are you? Your general total export trade is $6B and your general total import trade is $17B
You cannot add or substitute that figure by typing essays lol
I have seen some obtuse comments on this forum but this takes the cake.LOL so unanunua rawamaterial ya $17B

A computer is a FINISHED PRODUCT. In short, our local consumption is much higher than that of Tanzania. That is why what you import, we import it twice or thrice to meet the local demand
Aliesema hiyo import potion ni rawamaterial whole of it, ni mkenya mwenzenu, I replied accordinglyI have seen some obtuse comments on this forum but this takes the cake.
That one can have such a poor understanding of what imports and exports are and proudly share that ignorance on the internet is...amazing!ππ
