Magufuli: Tutarejeshewa sehemu ya anga iliyokasimiwa kwa Kenya

Rais wa Tanzania Dkt John Magufuli ameeleza matumaini kwamba taifa hilo litarejeshewa uangalizi wa sehemu ya anga lake ambayo kwa sasa huangaliwa na Kenya.
Hii ni baada ya rais huyo kuzindua ujenzi wa mitambo minne mipya ya rada.
Dkt Magufuli alisema hayo alipokuwa akimeweka jiwe la msingi kwenye ujenzi wa mfumo mmoja wa rada za kuongozea ndege katika uwanja wa ndege wa Mwalimu Julius Nyerere.
Shirika la Usalama wa Anga Duniani (ICAO) lilikasimu sehemu ya anga la Tanzania kwa Kenya kutokana na ukosefu wa mitambo ya kutosha Tanzania.
Dkt Magufuli amesema nchi hiyo imekuwa ikipoteza takribani Bilioni 1.2 ya tozo kwa mwaka kutokana na mpangilio huo.
"Hivi sasa Tanzania inapoteza takribani Bilioni 1.2 ya tozo kwa mwaka baada ya Shirika la Usalama wa Anga Duniani (ICAO) kukasimu sehemu ya anga la Tanzania kwa Kenya, baada ya mradi huu kukamilika tutarejeshewa sehemu hiyo," amesema Dkt Magufuli.
"Tanzania ina Rada moja tu iliyonunuliwa mwaka 2002 na ina uwezo wa kuhudumia anga kwa asilimia 25 tu lakini kukamilika kwa Rada hizi kutawezesha anga lote la Tanzania kuhudumiwa.
Dkt Magufuli ametoa wito kwa wanaotekeleza mradi huo kuusimamia vyema na kuhakikisha unakamilika „ndani ya muda au hata kabla ya muda wake"
"Mradi huu tunauhitaji haraka sana," amesema, na kutoa wito kwa raia nchini humo kuunga mkono juhudi za serikali yake katika kutekeleza miradi ya maendeleo.
"Miradi yote tunayotekeleza, ununuzi madawa, ndege zinazokuja yote hii ni yenu, sisi viongozi jukumu letu ni kusimamia utekelezaji wa miradi hii, Serikali ipo haijalala na haitalala."
Mkurugenzi Mkuu wa Mamlaka ya Usafiri wa Anga Tanzania (TCAA) Bw Hamza Johari amesema: "Faida za mradi ni kuonekana kwa anga lote la Tanzania kwa asilimia 100 utakaosadia kuongeza usalama na mapato, pia mfumo huu utakuwa na uwezo wa kupanga ndege nyigi zaidi na unatarajiwa kutavutia ndege nyingi zaidi" .
Gharama za mradi ni bilioni 67.3 na zinafadhiliwa na Serikali ya Tanzania kwa asilimia 100 unaotarajiwa kuchukua miezi 18 kukamilika na utakamilika mwezi Mei 2019.
Mitambo hiyo minne itawekwa viwanja vinne vikuu vya ndege nchini humo: Julius Nyerere jijini Dar es Salaam, Mwanza, KIA Mkoani Kilimanjaro na Songwe, Mbeya
Tanzania baadaye leo ilipokea ndege ya tatu aina ya Bombardier Q400 kutoka Canada, ambayo ni kati ya ndege sita ambazo rais huyo aliahidi kununua kufufua shirika la ndege la taifa hilo.

Ndege hiyo ilianza safari ya kuelekea Dar es Salaam mnamo Ijumaa wiki iliyopita.
Rais Magufuli, akiongea awali, alisema raia Tanzania wanafaa kujivunia hatua miradi ambayo inatekelezwa na serikali yake.
"Nchi ya Tanzania inaenda vizuri sana Watanzania watembee kifua mbele kwani nchi inakuwa kwa kasi, Ilikuwa ni aibu kwa nchi kubwa kama Tanzania kuwa haina ndege ya Serikali".

Dkt Magufuli amesema nchi hiyo imekuwa ikipoteza takribani Bilioni 1.2 ya tozo kwa mwaka kutokana na mpangilio huo.
"Hivi sasa Tanzania inapoteza takribani Bilioni 1.2 ya tozo kwa mwaka baada ya Shirika la Usalama wa Anga Duniani (ICAO) kukasimu sehemu ya anga la Tanzania kwa Kenya, baada ya mradi huu kukamilika tutarejeshewa sehemu hiyo," amesema Dkt Magufuli.

787-8 is first ever wide-body order for 'The Wings of Kilimanjaro'
Boeing and the United Republic of Tanzania have confirmed an order for one 787-8 Dreamliner, valued at $224.6 million at list prices. The aircraft will be operated by Air Tanzania, the flag carrier of Tanzania.
Air Tanzania said, "The 787 Dreamliner will be the flagship aircraft as we renew and grow the Air Tanzania fleet. We aim to establish our long-haul capability by starting flights to Europe, Asia and the U.S.A over the coming years and the 787 is the perfect aircraft to achieve this ambition."
The 787 is a family of technologically advanced, super-efficient airplanes with new passenger-pleasing features. In addition to bringing big-jet ranges to midsize airplanes, the 787 will provide Air Tanzania with unmatched fuel efficiency and environmental performance, using 20 to 25 percent less fuel and with 20 to 25 percent fewer emissions than the airplanes it replaces.
"I am pleased to welcome Air Tanzania as the newest member of the Dreamliner family,” said Van Rex Gallard, Vice President, Latin America, Africa & Caribbean Sales, Boeing Commercial Airplanes. "We are honored that Air Tanzania has chosen the 787 to operate its long-haul operations. The 787 will significantly increase passenger numbers feeding on to its domestic flights thereby boosting overall tourism to Tanzania."
Air Tanzania Company Limited is the flag carrier of Tanzania based in Dar es Salaam with its hub at Julius Nyerere International Airport and currently flies to destinations in Tanzania with a growing fleet of airplanes.

MIAMI — Air Tanzania has been disclosed as a previously unidentified customer for a single Boeing 787-8, valued at $224.6 million at list prices.
The order follows private meetings that Jim Deboo, Africa region sales and marketing director for Boeing, held with John Magufuli, president of the United Republic of Tanzania during a visit last week.
“The 787 Dreamliner will be the flagship aircraft as we renew and grow the Air Tanzania fleet. We aim to establish our long-haul capability by starting flights to Europe, Asia and the United States over the coming years and the 787 is the perfect aircraft to achieve this ambition,” the airline said in a statement.
The announcement is the latest in a series of aircraft acquisitions for Air Tanzania. Last December 2, the carrier announced a firm order for two Bombardier CS300s and two Q400s turboprops, and earlier this year, the carrier took delivery of two Q400s with an all-economy, 76-seat cabin configuration.
Air Tanzania is the flag carrier of Tanzania, based in Julius Nyerere International Airport ni Dar es Salaam, and currently flies to several domestic destinations.
The acquisition of these new aircraft is part of a turn-around plan for the company, intended to serve as a tool to transform the country into a regional transportation hub while boosting the tourism industry of the country, which currently brings in around $2 billion a year.

Idiot, Rwanda haina Dreamliner. As for Kenya u can't claim the ownership of the 9 dreamliners till u clear the whole loan in 2025. Unfortunately u have already started to default paying the debt n after seeing receivership process on the way u started forcing a debt conversion to a stake to ur local banks.
