time is synonymous with space. for as long as information travels with less than the speed of light, objects in spacetime are limited in the way they interact with eachother SO TIME IS the measurement of the interevals/sequence of events!

You are trying to define time. The definition of something is not a proof of it.

Now, there is a huge difference between scientific facts and assumptions based on science.

You are trying to define time. The definition of something is not a proof of it.

Explaining and proving time is part of a debate that has never found a conclusion, and never will. Most of the stuff we discuss here, can go on until all of us die (or at least when the thread/JF is no longer accessible) without any conclusions. Even that in itself is a measure of time. And if that happens, will it prove that there is time?

Proof can only be some agreeable unit of measure between events as they happen from "now" to the future or the reverse of it. And could time be elastic? Could it be non-continuous? How do we go about proving any of it? What is proof?

Reminds me of the other non-ending discussions on reality. How do you know something is really real? Could it be that whatever we perceive as dreams is in fact reality and the reality is just a dream?
