Ukweli kwamba watanzania na wajaluo ndio wanao zunumza sanba kuhusu Safari yes Obama TanzaniaUkweli gani?
Idiot........continue bootlicking and begging the West while other African countries develop by themselves.
Nairobiwalker. This is not necessary. Iwant to inform Gu that GE , which entered the kenyan market last years is talking about developing 1000MW of solar power in kenya. But i do not know when.Idiot........continue bootlicking and begging the West while other African countries develop by themselves.
Huko mnakouana kwa magrenade?countries in africa develop themselves but not kenya kama asingekuwa kikwete mngeendelea kuchinjana kama kuku. maendeleo ya amani yenu yametokana na jithada za nje hasa TZ. ua mkenya kwanza ndo umuue nyoka.
livefire, Kabaridi, Jamii walker, Nyani Ngabu,
..I think ppl are over reacting.
..I heard Obama mentioning Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, etc etc a few times when he was speaking at the CEO roundtable.
..Also, Kenya was represented in the CEO's dinner with President Obama.
..If Tanzania wins, then Kenya wins too. There are a lot of Kenyan companies that have invested in Tanzania. If I am not mistaken, Kenya ranks as # 2 among foreign investors in Tanzania.

So what are you telling us? Kenya is funding an estimated 680MW of geothermal power from its own resources. That is in addition to another 300MW already commissioned last year and the year before.Uganda is also funding karuma hydro capacity 750 MW from its own resources. Sometimes you guys don't get it. We do not need America to come calling so that build the next project. We can do it ourselves. On that US$7bio. Tanzania is to receive not less than US$3bio and for the US$9 bio. from private sector TZ is to receive a half of that! Still not a mean achievement considering the fact we qualified for MCC phase II that will be btn US$ 800mio-1bio! Symbion has just lunched 400MW gas-electricity power project worthing US$1bio.(Financing different) apart the 350MW from Japanese one in Kinyerezi. Ethiopia dam project is not financed by the US do ur homework
Huko mnakouana kwa magrenade?
Muongo wewe. Muongo dhahirisi ni nyinyi mnataka kutuhujumu kwenye utalii baada ya wageni kuwahama na alshabaab yenu. sisi tuko nondo kama uchumi wenu uko juu si mbaki kwenu tu
Naskia washaita barabara moja kule Dar Barrack Obama drive....hawa watanzania wajinga kweli.
Shauri yako. Ukabila ni sumu flani hivi ambayo inaweza kukuua, kama hutaweza kujiangalia. Chunga afya yako kiakili!Ukweli kwamba watanzania na wajaluo ndio wanao zunumza sanba kuhusu Safari yes Obama Tanzania
How is the LAPSSET going? Have u guys managed even to raise US$ 1 bio.? :boxing:So what are you telling us? Kenya is funding an estimated 680MW of geothermal power from its own resources. Aisee Geza Ulole, badala ya kujibu hili swali nyeti awa jamaa wataanza kuporomosha mitusi. Ndo kazi yao. Nina wasiwasi bado hawajapona yale maumivu makali yaliyosababishwa na Obama kuja TZ hivi karibuni! How is the LAPSSET going? Have u guys managed even to raise US$ 1 bio.? :boxing:
the issue here is not to have most ambitious projects on paper but to raise funds the Karuma dam project has not yet secured funds though Chinese banks have shown interest considering their interests on oil deposits there. The same applies to Kenya that is finding even harder to convince investors. Just to give u a hint Yana is puting up over US$800 mio fertilizer plant in Mtwara just after Dangote's US$600mio cement and Malaysian US$800 mio petrochemical factory! Whereas over US$10 bio. an LNG factory has been confirmed by both Statoil and Exxon Mobil and seems they want to build separate for over 45TCf of proven gas reserves on TZ coast...So what are you telling us? kama uchumi unakuwa mnajazana Tanzania kufanya nini? mbona maisha yenu yako chini ?
mnajazana tu Tz nendeni kwenu si uchumi umekuwa. ni bora nyoka kuliko mkenya
livefire,Kabaridi, u really wrote your heart out.....splendid and concise. We shouldn't really bow down to LGBT legitimization. We have better judiciary assignments to realize.
Our tourism might have received a shot in the arm with Egypt going down but i still insist, overt declaration of diplomatic hostilities ain't gonna take us nowhere.....our systems are tied there.
I am for Russia & China inclusion but in a manner not to jeopardize existing western alliances, cooperation trade treaties, and investments. Kenya is a service based economy, boosted by Agriculture, (+floriculture), tea, and those green stuffs we daily ship to europe, we benefit from AGOA and EU leniency to sell our goods there, and in kind thousand s of families back home get a livelihood. If serious travel advisories are to be given to Kenya, we are to incur huge losses, KQ though being an African modeled airline, it reported fewer than normal western visitors. This is a consequence of the western crunch but also diplomatic advisories; trust me, they affect our tourism big time.
NB: AMERICANAS+EUROPEANS still remain to be our biggest tourism sources, not the Asia's, Chinese and Russians.
As u can see my argument is not centered in what happens in Nairobi but the lager economic metropolis. The Khat industry being one example i believe UK may have voluntarily sabotaged Kenya on a mere technicality just to pass a message. That move leaves 500,000 livelihoods in a limbo.
This leaves us with one choice, Go EAST, but we don't need to announce in front of a diplomatic counsel dinner as we witnessed the other day that we going east.
About VAT, the president has better advisors giving him requisite economic counsel as of to the possible consequences of the VAT bill. That VAT bill will raise costs of living whose ripple effects will affect even lending/existing credit rates soon after its conception. Its a bill telling off investors.....before inflation normalizes, its damage may have already surpassed the benefits.
I recommend your remedy, strengthen our institutions, seal KRA loop holes and keep watch on devolution as we amend the bill while coercing Tullow to fire up those engines and fast..
I have no problem when you honor great people but I have every reason to note the hypocrisy when bash others for honoring great people while you overdo the thing yourselves. Kweli nyani haoni kundule. Kama nyinyi mwaweza fanya hayo yote mbona mwaona Wakenya wajinga wakideclare holiday for one of their own?
Last time I checked, Kenya had the highest HDI in East Africa while Tz had the second lowest beating only Burundi so I don't get where you guys get this idea of Tz having better living standards than Kenya.
Muongo wewe. Muongo dhahiri
