I hope African leaders will address the unfriendly, inhumane treatment of employees in Chinese companies operating in Africa, which is not in accordance with the labor laws of African countries, rather than just sitting idly and waiting for thier paychecks

I’ve been following the China-Africa Summit closely, and I think it’s an important topic, especially when it comes to the impact of Chinese companies in Africa. I had the chance to work on a project in East Africa last year, and while the Chinese companies brought in infrastructure and investment, there were definitely mixed feelings from the local workforce. Some of the employees really appreciated the jobs and training, while others felt there were issues with working conditions and cultural differences.I know companies like those found through sites like https://chinesemfg.cоm/ are investing heavily, but I think a more transparent discussion about how these companies treat their employees is overdue. It’ll be interesting to see if the summit addresses this balance of economic benefits vs. challenges for African workers.
