Fikiria ndugu. Loan yenyewe ni around 300 billion Kenya shillings. The port of Mombasa does an average monthly revenue of around 35billion shillings. Ukifanya hesabu, hata waChina wakiamua Kuichukua na kuiendesha,itachukua mda gani kabla irejee mikononi zetu?

Most Tanzanians in this forum don't reason. If at all we assumed to reason the way you believe that Mombasa port was used as a collateral, how many years do you think Chinese will remain with the port? The port makes an average revenue of 45bln shillings per months, now take 300bln shillings and devide by 45bln and tell us the answer. The outcome is not even one year, so we can decide to give them the port ( which I doubt) for 8 months and then take it again, and remember Mombasa port is in top 10 best efficient ports in Africa.

KRA alone collects more than 1 trillion Kenyan shillings per year, so under which odds do you think Kenya haitakuwa na uwezo wa kulipa deni? Some things just need common sense, if Kenya decides to pay China today they will do so without any difficulties. How many assets do you Kenyan government have? And how much do you think they generate from the assets?

unaonesha hadharani kwamba akili yako si Sawa. There is zero chance port itachukuliwa.

1st before they take over the collateral lazima loan iwe in default. 2nd the port was never used as collateral. This premature talk can only be compared to premature ejaculation
