Most Tanzanians in this forum don't reason. If at all we assumed to reason the way you believe that Mombasa port was used as a collateral, how many years do you think Chinese will remain with the port? The port makes an average revenue of 45bln shillings per months, now take 300bln shillings and devide by 45bln and tell us the answer. The outcome is not even one year, so we can decide to give them the port ( which I doubt) for 8 months and then take it again, and remember Mombasa port is in top 10 best efficient ports in Africa.View attachment 979473View attachment 979474

bro read above, under and btn the lines, your government waived the immunity against the KPA assets in case of default. in other words the assets are prone for foreclosure.
but my question is, whether that facility was a corporate finance or a project finance with an advantage of having a limited to non recourse. I'm asking dat coz the risk is not limited to the project itself.
