nairob ilichoizd dsm ni kutangulia tu but dsm inakuja juu kwa speed kubwa ambayo in the next 5 years wakenya mtakuwa mnakuja dsm kutalii. good example ni airport inayojengwa dsm ambayo itakua far compared na kenyatta. so kenyan tafuteni hela hamtakua mnaenda UK au USA tena kutalii tunawarahisishia mtakuja bongo apa.

Pioneering interchanges?

My brother, these projects are funded through AfDB and WB loans. Thika highway improvement cost about $300m so is Dar es salaam BRT Phase I and II. It's not about pioneering, or having the ballz to construct your own s#!t. It's a loan! The type of Loan from Multinationals dealing with backward countries like ours.

Tanzania could've chosen to build interchanges and Kenya could've chosen to build a Rapid Trans System.

The three levels you are talking about at Pangani interchange are synonymous to calling a house with a basement, a two-storey or two floors house. While it makes sense (since there are two floors) but it falls short of the perceived meaning. That is just a 200m tunnel.

When Kasarani Stadium was opened by Moi, I bet y'all used to say "We are pioneers in building stadiums". Now you need one, don't you?

All in all, what if Kenya built the first 4-level flyover in East Africa? Or Tanzania built the first rough-ryder condoms factory in East Africa? It means nothing!!, we are all backward and corrupt trying to show-off.

It's like trying to figure-out who is the tallest Midget.
