That is not a BRT but SBS.

In Dar's BRT, they happened to choose to make the BRT lanes pavement rigid while the normal lanes were made flexible.

Happen to choose!... my ass. Concrete roads are very expensive to build but last longer than asphalt, as they have a much higher tensile strength. So, it didn't just happen, we were looking for the best quality.

They are similar but not the same. BRT is a system just like subway is, while SBS is just a convenient way to dedicate a lane for buses.
