Ikumbukwe hapa kuwa ni Rais Magufuli pekee barani Afrika aliyekataa kuwafungia wananchi ndani yaani lockdown licha ya shinikizo kubwa kutoka kwa Chadema na ACT wazalendo.

Rais Museveni wa Uganda amesema uamuzi wa kuwafungia wananchi ndani ni kuwatesa na kuuwa uchumi wa nchi.
Museveni amesema kwa sasa anajitafakari upya ili aweze kuondoa zuio la wananchi kutembea usiku.

Maendeleo hayana vyama!

Tanzanians have once again praised their top leader, John Pombe Magufuli over the decisions he took when the COVID-19 pandemic was wreaking havoc in the region.

They are showering Dr. Magufuli with praises after President Yoweri Museveni hinted lifting partial lockdown and curfews to get Uganda's economy on the right path.

According to what Tanzanians are saying on social media, Dr. Magufuli's decision of not locking down Tanzania is paying off, with almost her neighbours now thinking of doing the same thing.

Tanzanians are saying other nations are pulling out a similar move in their countries after seeing Tanzania succeed by doing so.

On Monday during his 16th state address over COVID-19, Museveni said Uganda won't be on lockdown forever over the deadly virus.

He said the lockdown is negatively affecting the economy.

"However, as I told you when I last addressed the country on the 1st of June, 2020, these lockdowns cannot and should not be in force forever. They affect sections of the economy," read Museveni's written state address speech in part.

Museveni noted that he was also wondering why they had decided to ban people from operating at night over COVID-19, and yet allowed taxi drivers to do so.

He further warned Ugandans that the country was heading to a more dangerous phase where new infections are emerging within the people.

Unlike before where foreign truck drivers were said to be the main source of infection in Uganda, Museveni noted it is now emerging from within the country, with most cases turning out to be hard to trace their source.

Other Tanzanians have named Kenya's Opposition Leader Raila Odinga to be among the top three of East African leaders who like resisting and opposing much.

They listed Museveni at number one and Tanzania's Opposition Leader, Mr. Mbower at number three.
