You exposed yourselves by posting long Queues, Sweaty Crowds & total confusion.
Its only shows that Quality of Service is very poor.
I have been at SGR station in the morning, Despite there being large waiting bays, no one sits there..its a waste, everyone is always standing in a long Queue waiting to be sniffed by a dog, getting his/her printed ticket (not paying as you wrongly put it payment is done be4 with mpesa) , or removing belts & earings at the poorly equiped scanning station.
Solve those problems stop defending mediocrity..NBO station can easily do away with 3/4 of its area..No one goes to a station to "enjoy" sitting his ass on hard metal chairs surrounded by smelly sweaty strangers. People want to board as quickly as possible & get to their destination

What confusion? Go through security, wait in waiting room, board when told, ushers everywhere guide.. Never seen any one confused. But big crowds are a good problem, more revenue.
Which waiting bay is outside the station? Because dog security checks are outside in car park on arrival and when you enter the building on your way upstairs to waiting area. Seems you really haven't been to this SGR station. What other type of scanner are you talking about that is more efficient and you are scanned while still holding your bag? Even in Dubai you remove your belt, we are unfortunately living next to a failed state carrying out terrorist attacks. If Tz is safe enough don't put scanners.
At what point did I say one pays for the ticket at the printing station? It's where you print the ticket using a code one received after paying via Mpesa at home.
This is a long distance train, not a commuter bus. Some people will arrive 2hrs early, others 15mins to departure. Those who arrive early will sit and wait as there is one train leaving, not a metro every 5mins that people can stand and wait.
Let those stations of Tz get finished then we see if you won't get these problems or even worse, early passengers sit outside on grass as there is no space in the building. We will see if you won't use metal waiting chairs, we will wait to see your sofas. Nairobi is always cool, mombasa waiting area has free air flow, Hot Dar and enclosed glass building, we will see who will sweat.

Wewe unaona unafikiria vizuri ukilinganisha BRT an long distance, 2 times a day train service? Boarding pass inaitajika kuonyesha class, seat number and destination station. Nyinyi hufanya booking ya brt?
