Haujajibu swali, Hata bandari ya Kenya inapakua 30million tonnes kila mwaka, hauezi tarajia zote ziende na SGR, Kwa mfano Dar port mwaka jana ilipitisha 16 million tonnes, kuna tani million kadhaa zilibaki hapo Dar, alafu nchi jirani za SADC pia ni customer mkubwawa Dar port ,nchi hizo ziko upande wa kusini ambapo SGR haifiki, labda TAZARA....
mimi jana niliwaletea projected cargo and persenger demand hadi 2030,
baada ya ujenzi, baada ya kushindana kuhusu axle load, speed, locomotive capacity.......etc...at the end of the day,
kazi ya reli ni kubeba mizigona watu...... mnatarajia kubeba kiasi gani?... (e.g. Reli ya SA iko na 16,000 trains a day!!!!!! kwa siku moja wanabeba mizigo ya miezi sita ya Tz... this is what matters the most)
Tuna operate at a loss kwasababu demand bado ni ndogo , relatively speaking ... No one expects us to make profit the first year for such a large project... once again ikijakwa tz sgr unaongea na wishful thinking badala ya takwimu
