So nikisema reli hii inayojengwa na SGR kwa sasa haifiki bandarini najua kwa uhakika nasema kitu gani.
Kama itajengwa baadae , mwakani au kesho itakua ni baada ya kukosea na kurekebisha na itahusu renda na gharama na bajeti nyengine.

Huko Uganda cargo yao inayopitia Dar ni michache sana. Na hatutarajii kama watabadilisha mjia kutoka Mombasa ambako njia ni fipi zaidi na efficient ya MSA port ni bora zaidi.
Kwa sasa ujenzi kulekea Rwanda utachukua may another 10years kwani Rwanda wenyewe hawako tayari kuwekeza gharama kubwa labda tuwapekee mpaka mlangoni.
Miradi hii ni mizuri na mawazo yalikua mazuri lakini yamefanyika kwa ego ya kisiasa.

imekaa vyema sana hiisafi, sasa nimeelewa.. mizigo badala ya kushuka na kubaki hapo bandarin, basi inachukuliwa moja kwa moja kutoka meli kwenda kwenye train then kupelekwa bandari kavu ya kwale.. huko ndo process za sijui ‘forwarding’ au ‘transit’ ndo zitafanya kazi.. yote hii ni kupunguza msongamano hapo ndan bandarin!

Daraja litainuliwa ili njia za train ya kati ambazo zipo chini pale Puma zisingiliane na magari.
Mnakuja hapa kufanya propaganda na hamwelewi kitu.
Hio project walo zindua ni part ya mssada wa JiCa kuondoa foleni Dar.
Ni mipango ilikua tangu 2009 . Ni ongoing project inaendelea.

Mtu akisema reli yenu itabomolewa na mvua , na mimi niseme haijabomolewa kwasababu hua kukiwa na dalili yeyote ya mvua huko TZ hua mnakusanya virago vyote na kuhama hadi mvua jua lirudi. Tofauti na huku Kenya ambako hata mvua inyeshe kiasi gani hao wachina hua hawaondoki kwa construction site.... Sasa hapo unashindwa kuelewa nini?? ntse!

Tanzania is unlikely to meet the November deadline for the first phase of the 300km-long US $1.9bn standard gauge railway (SGR) being built between Dar es Salaam and Morogoro. The current short rains have slowed laying of the tracks on concrete sleepers along the line.
The recent rains have also paralysed drilling works at a hill where a tunnel needs to pass through as well as building of bridges
