1st. Master plan report iliandaliwa na EAT Community (inchi zote 5) mwaka 2009 at that time JPM alikua waziri wa Ardhi utasemaje hio report ya JPM, who was he to influence hio report at that point in time?

2nd. Ht kutoka Keza unaweza kufika Musogati bila tatzo na ht report hio ya 2009 imesema hivyo.

3rd. Km unataka kutukana tukana tu hakuna aliekukataza, hio ndo njia pekee hua unaitumia kujibu hoja za watu ukiwa huna hoja kinzani.

Its kind of diffcult kujua kwann hawana drive kama ile ya zamani..i thought Rwanda would be easier to do the project than Burundi ukiangalia na uchumi wao .they can easily get ..it is a 571km rail.ni ki compare na cost za dar to dodoma it might cost aroud 2.5bil usd..each country has to come with ratio depending on kilometers to be covered

Naona kama Afdb imetajwa tajwa maybe might be a biggest lender for the project

The rail is very crucial and strategic for the development of Southern corridor.

Zambia, Malawi na hata DRC wanaweza kutumia Mtwara Port. Hata Zimbabwe nao wanaweza kuitumia. Kwa investment kubwa iliyofanyika na upanuzi wa bandari na uwanja wa ndege wa kimataifa huko inabidi wafocus na biashara kubwa ili kurudisha hiyo thamani ya uwekezaji kwenye miundombinu.

Bandari hiyo wasiishie kwenye korosho na chuma cha Liganga na makaa ya mawe alone. Kuna potential kubwa ya kuserve SADC katika logistics. Nchi nyingi hazina miundombinu bora na ya kisasa kama TZ katika ukanda huu.

Kwahiyo wewe ndo unawapangia? Sio wao based on their geopolitical influence (kutopita nchi mbili) and distance to the sea? Wacha ujuaji wao ni wateja na wanaamua wapi ipite kutokana na interests zao! Rwanda wana-interest na Mwanza pia! Swala la cost halikuhusu wacha reli itapakae huko maana hiyo ya Rwanda kupitia Keza itamvuta Uganda!
it is an opinion..naona rwanda wako wanasusua..but whatever they choose ni maamuzi yao...i think watataka Isaka Keza Kigali...which will cost 2.5bn usd or more.but i will be an advantage to us Tz ..in case Uganda wants the rail..to pass via land wataichota mpakani mwa kagera kama Tz ataona ni sawa kujenga ..

Untill then Tz focus should be kwenye Reli Zake
Tabora to Isaka 165km
Tabora to Kigoma 411km
Kaliua -Mpanda -Karema 317km

All those above might cost around 5Bil usd

Then maybe... Mtwara to Mbamba Bay via songea with branches to Mchuchuma and Liganga

Tanzania and Burundi have signed an agreement to build a $900 million railway that will connect the neighboring East African nations.

The two sides signed a memorandum of understanding to construct a 282-kilometer (175-mile) line from the western Tanzanian town of Uvinza to Burundi’s capital Gitega. Finance and transport ministers from the two countries signed the deal in the western Tanzanian town of Kigoma on Sunday, Tanzania’s finance ministry said in a statement.

Tanzania, which wants to become a regional trade and transport hub, is building a standard gauge railway line to connect the port of Dar es Salaam to landlocked neighbors, including the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

The two governments will jointly seek financing for the railway, Tanzania Finance Minister Mwigulu Nchemba said, adding that the final cost “will likely not exceed $900 million.” He didn’t provide details on the source of financing.
