Unajua Kigoma port? cargo second to Dar port! sasa combine Kigoma na Burundi na DRC link halafu fanya mahesabu! wacha Sukumagang mentality! The approach you favour entails laying a track length of 527km in order to have both Rwanda na Burundi served by sgr. 156km kigoma to Burundi border and another 371 from Isaka to rusumo making a total of 527 track length aside ftom parallel rail.
The option from Isaka Keza would have required us to build a track length of only 394km that will serve the entire market of Rwanda Burundi, Congo and possibly Uganda and mind you here we are looking at economies of scale on that stretch of line as compared if both countries go solo one joins via kigoma the other through Isaka.
