Dar shines in continental capacity index ranking

ethiopia has not beat kenya...infact ethiopia is one of the poorest countries in the world...even tanzania is richer than ethiopia...even south sudan is richer than ethiopia...what made ethiopias GDP to pass Kenya's is the country's population which now stands at at 100 million...nikama Nigeria it passed SA in terms of GDP but Nigeria is another very useless and underdeveloped country....SA still beats Nigeria in all sectors hands down....Kenya still beats Ethiopia in all other sectors hands down......in this context, u can compare kenya to SA while Ethiopia is like Nigeria....big GDP no development and high poverty....you can imagine Kenya has only 45 million ppl...so usitaje hata ethiopia...hio ndio one of the most useless countries ukanda huu and in afrika....in relation to TZ exporting gold, sijui nickel...hio mnaweza kwani mna hizo rasilimali lakini mbona hamtendi? kenya only recently discovered oil bt ndio hio we are soon to be exporters...
I'm not sure if Kenya or any country within East Africa has a reserve of 6,000 megawatts of power, no one at the moment in East African grows at 8-10%. Not sure if any country in East Africa has the amount of livestock like Ethiopia has. We're talking about potential here, 100mil people under one tax jurisdiction can not be matched with any country in EAC. People can always be developed its matter of policy, but you can't create market without people. Hapo ndipo potential ya Ethiopia na Nigeria, its becoming bigger than Kenya. The investors tend to look for for future potential markets, ndio nikasema Kenya has already be exploited na wajanja. At the moment Kenya mnakimbia Kwenye speed ya karibu na mwisho, Tanzania Ethiopia bado hawajaanza kwenda full throttle. What will happen kama na wao wakianza kukimbia na housing market, utilise their land, manufacturing, air, sea, rail, education insurance. What will happen?

Ethiopia produces all those megawatts from river Nile which is a shame since it originates from our lake...by our lake I mean it belongs to Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania....secondly, i agree that ethiopia has a lot of potential with its population, large no. of heads of cattle...however, they have been sleeping on this potential for a loong time...same is Tanzania...infact, it has been referred to as sleeping giant....the issue of 8-10 percent growth is normal...after all, even India grows at a faster rate than the US but frankly it will never be on the same level with the US... when you say ur growing at a higher rate do you think we are stagnant? even though our growth rate is slightly lower, it would take ages for TZ to reach us..Ethiopia will have large GDP but it is in no way better than Kenya coz out of that 100 mil almost 90 mil are languishing in extreme poverty...thats why when an american president decides to call African Heads of state, he doesnt call Ethiopia's prime minister, he calls uhuru kenyatta instead...kenya is the big fish of EA...this is a globally renowned fact...having said that, i agree that ethiopia does has a chance to beat us in the long run and thats only becoz of its population power but that is not happening any time soon...remeber large popultion comes with larger responsibilities even though the resources are scarce....also tanzania can never beat kenya unless we go into recession for 20 years then you'll stand a chance...remember there is a very small difference between our populations...

You mean that little strip from Mombasa to Kisumu, yeah I can see potential there.
Come to think of it, how will Kenya look like 100 yrs from now, Plenty of water, every Kenyan owns a peace of land, Kenya is food sufficient. I'm just thinking out loud.
why not? if we bring in irrigation technology, we dont need rain...food sufficiency pap!! we are already thinking abt water desalination do you even know what that is?

Water desalination huh? Good luck with that one. Those thing they'll be screaming for power, the cost will reflect on Kenyan produce. I'm not sure why Kenyans leader always bring home the most expensive ideas, and the funny thing is, no one seems to care.

You've asked if Ethiopia and Tanzania are growing, will Kenya be stagnating?. Have you seen Kenya manufacturing output data for last 10-12 years? Please do, the devil is in the detail.

So Trump calling Kenyan President it's a clear indication that Kenya is doing better economically. Men, unbelievable, all Trump wanted to know is Somalia, let's put that way. He wanted to make sure he has clearance of airspace, it's personnel can use Kenyan soil if needed, and if Kenya was willing to up its game in Somalia. Trump has no interest to entertain trade were America isn't winning, remember, “America first”.

And this is funny, it will take long time for Tanzania to reach Kenyan level. If Kenya hasn't upgraded her machinery for the last 30 years, do you think you're hard to beat? Have you been in Kenya industrial area lettley? I have, most of the machines are old (80’s) they break more often, upgrade is overdue, at the same time countries like Ethiopia Uganda Tanzania are opening new and modern factories. Kenyans neighbors are strengthening their industrial output and you're telling us it will take years to reach Kenyan level. If India can beat USA on IT, why can't they beat them in medical research, infrastructure project (India will have bullet train way before USA). Middle class in India is more than entere population of USA. In the space of 10 years, China has use the same amount of cement USA has use for 100 years. The problem isn't getting on top, is to stay on top.

Kenya does not just develop major towns, example the following are omages from Kenya, you may think it is from West America

Kelele zote na kujifanya mjanja kumbe hata hujui umeme wa Ethiopia unazalishwa na Maji kutoka wapi,
Umeme wa Ethiopia hauzalishwi na maji ya kutoka lake Victoria, check your facts

Wakenya wote ni majuha hawajui River Nile ina two arms! Nawajua vizuri!

Ninacho wasifu Wakenya ni kuisifia nchi yao in a positive manner, and that they are so loud to their country... Lakini Wabongo sisi ni watu wa kuponda nchi nchi yetu muda wote kwa maslahi tusiyo yajua...Stupid enough...
Let's change guys, and always be positive to our own country even if we are staying abroad....
