Leo Messi breaks the 300 goal barrier in the league

With his goals against Sporting in El Molinón, the Argentine now has 301 goals in the league in 334 matches. On 1 May 2005, Lionel Andrés Messi scored his first league goals for Barça aged just 17. The contest was against Albacete Camp Nou, the goal being the first in what would be a 2-0 win. Since that day, more than 10 years have passed and five Ballon d’Or have been won by the Argentine. Now he has reached the landmark figure of 301 goals with his two strikes againstSporting Gijón in El Molinón.
