Barcelona destroy Man City
Barcelona were convincing winners over Manchester City tonight.
They won the match 4-0 and dominated from the offset and throughout.
Three of their 4 goals came courtesy of 5-time Ballon d’Or winner, Lionel Messi, who managed to score his 6th goal in the Champions League this season.
The Argentine superstar was phenomenal tonight and was praised by many for his performance.
Neymar was the scorer of Barcelona’s 4th goal as he made amends for an earlier penalty kick miss.
Messi nets hat-trick
However, Messi’s hat-trick was of course the big talking point of the game.
He became the second ever player to score two champions league hat-tricks, back-to-back, tonight.
Despite his none of his goals being of any great quality, he was credited by many on Twitter as the best footballer in the world (no surprise there) and many people also gave stats to back up their point.
