Antonio Rüdiger has called to stop games in case of racist fan attacks during the Confederations Cup in Russia

Rüdiger: "Things like that still happening in 2017, it's unbelievable. Something has to change

Dark-skinned players who play in Italy like myself are concerned with this. And nothing happens to change it

Everywhere there are anti-racism campaigns but nothing has changed. We should be more radical, we should think about stopping games"

L’Équipe report that Premier League side Arsenal have concretely positioned themselves for Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette and are the most advanced in terms of discussions for the player at the moment.

Lacazette, who has been announced as not for sale by Lyon President Aulas, is still weighing up a move to Atletico Madrid this summer and not playing for 6 months. Atleti is the club that he always wanted to join, but his recent inclusion in the French national team has given him hope of making the 2018 World Cup, a hope that would be extinguished were he not to play for 6 months.

Borussia Dortmund have established Alexandre Lacazette as their top priority when the eventual departure of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang occurs, but the Gabonese international, who appeared to be close to PSG at one stage, has a situation which is not moving for the moment, leaving this option in doubt for Lyon’s striker.

Manchester United remain in regular contact with Alexandre Lacazette’s representatives, but he is not their priority. They continue to negotiate to close a deal with Real Madrid for striker Alvaro Morata, putting their pursuit of Lacazette on hold, potentially definitively.

As for Chelsea, they have also made an enquiry for Alexandre Lacazette as a potential back-up option if they choose to pull out of a €90m deal with Everton for Romelu Lukaku, a player than Antonio Conte feels is absolutely essential.

Liverpool have also very recently made initial contact for Alexandre Lacazette, a player that they have watched for several seasons. They appreciate his versatility and prior experience on the flanks as well as in a central role. However, Lacazette does not want to go to a club where he could be used on the wing.

AC Milan are last in the race at the moment to land Lacazette, but have recently explored the possibility of signing the French forward on top of André Silva. The Chinese investors are going crazy in Italy.

With Gianluigi Donnarumma dominating the headlines the past two days following his decision not to sign a contract extension with Milan, the Serie A club have turned their attentions towards Bayer Leverkusen’s Bernd Leno, per Di Marzio.

Massimiliano Mirabelli is said to have met with Leverkusen’s Rudi Völler on Thursday to discuss any potential deal.

Whilst there’s been no offers for Leno, this looks to be a developing story as Milan search for their next No. 1.

During his two-year spell in Sinsheim, Uth has become one of Hoffenheim’s key players, scoring 16 goals in all competitions.

Also linked in recent weeks is 1. FSV Mainz 05 forward Jhon Córdoba, Schalke’s Franco di Santo and Toulouse’s Martin Braithwaite.
