Position: Planning Engineer
Project: East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP)
Location: [Tanga]

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
Monitor project progress and performance, identifying potential delays and proposing mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure effective planning and execution.
Analyze project data, prepare reports, and present findings to senior management.
Utilize planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) to create and manage project schedules.
Ensure compliance with project standards, policies, and regulations.
Support the development of project budgets and forecasts.
Participate in risk management and change management processes.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
Proficiency in planning software (Primavera P6, MS Project).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
Familiarity with the East African region and its infrastructure projects is a plus.
