Here is the argument, please tell me if this person is sane.
Tanzanian: Our president is launching a 400kv line, you do not have those. (Goes ahead and shows an image of the president launching a 132 Kv 300 km line in two days).
Me: We have a lot of those all over Kenya why get excited about such a small thing? (I go ahead and give him information from Ketraco about the 2,650km of 132kV lines).
Tanzanian: But you do not have a 400 Kv line (Which they do not have).
Me: Yes we do not, we have a bigger one (500Kv) and it is the longest in east and central africa (With link from construction review, completed in August and goes live next year in 2020 due to testing and maintenance training).
Tanzanian: (silence followed by cricket sounds, ignores everything and goes on an infantile, delusional rant like a dyslexic 12 yr old girl).

Also note the Title "Construction of longest transmission line in East and Central Africa nears completion".I have emphasized longest in red for you and if you did not know, you are counted in east and central africa.

"For starters, the 1,045km line (433 km in Ethiopia and 612 km in Kenya) is the longest in East and Central Africa. Construction is complete on the Ethiopia’s side, being shorter, while Kenya’s side is over 90 per cent complete and is expected to go live early next year.
The line, interconnecting at the Moyale common border, has the capacity to carry 2,000 megawatts of electricity in either direction, the capacity being higher than Kenya’s current maximum consumption (peak demand) of about 1,900 MW.
The 400kV Loiyangalani-Suswa 435km line built last year and connecting Turkana wind farm to the national grid holds the top spot in the region in terms of capacity, along with the 400kV Mombasa-Nairobi 428km line completed in 2017"
I can understand your excitement, Magufuli is trying to bring you to where Kenya was 25 years ago.If i was starting from such a low level i would be excited too over trivial matters but good thing I was born a Kenyan (such a huge step in life, just being Kenyan).

I know, I have worked there leading a team of Airtel software developers and I noticed they are infantile, lazy and they never take responsibility for their actions. The team there was a bunch of mediocre people who spent most of their time gossiping than working. I just had to recommend that I be moved back to Airtel Africa HQ in Nairobi, cancel the team in Tanzania and work with the Nigerian team.

Okay you do realize there is a 5000 bed capacity private hospital built with private money(not government) in Kakamega County called the Hamptons Hospital. do not excite yourself with small things.

American health sector is dominated by private hospitals. I know you guys do not have a strong private sector or to be precise not many people want to invest in your economy so you do not understand how private money can build huge monuments to civilization.
