Has the Tanzanian President unleashed the reign of terror just like her predecessor by use of a police force armed to the teeth vs Chadema?

The Leader of the major opposition Party, Freeman Aikaeli Mbowe, is in jail facing trumped up charges of terrorism!

Several members and leaders of his party across the country are rotting in jail just for calling for constitutional reforms!

The Police are breaking into the party offices across the country without search warrants and taking with them whatever what they can find!

And now party offices are being razed to the ground by police as evidenced in this video in Kigoma...something that is completely unacceptable!

Is this the legacy that President Samia Suluhu wants to be remembered by? If so, what's in store for the opposition in Tanzania?
 
She is just retaliating what you dumps been doing on the public to disrespect her reign. Your leader’s statement on calling for Constitutional reform was bit harsh and disrespectful to Presidency Office.

If I understand you right, after Madam President Samia Suluhu Hassan felt threatened, she declared war against Chadema and gave the police orders to deal with the party and its leaders, right?

Freeman Aikaeli Mbowe, the party chairman, was accordingly arrested and following a middle of the night police search at his home, was consequently charged with terrorism, right?

What followed was the arrest of members and leaders of the party across the country and their detention at various centres and to date no charges have been brought against them, right?

I could go on TUJITEGEMEE but let me ask you something, do you sincerely believe that our president was ever threatened at any time and if she was, was she ever in harm's way? What harm?

Hopping to achieve what goal, intimidation?

On the contrary, this time around she is unleashing a consuming fire that will sweep away the rot this country has been subjected to for some years now.

This time around, people's sentiments have been aroused. She will be very lucky to cool the tempers building up steadily before the wrath of the people sweeps the rascals away.

This thing is going to build up to the extent that she will have no power of stopping it.

This is going to be a new beginning for our country, no matter how that new beginning will be.

Only one thing will be certain, it will be a new beginning for Tanzania without the moribund CCM!

Disrespect for what demanding new constitution is unlawful?

She is not leading members of her family that if one family member ridicule has to react the way she want, the country has its constitution, laws and regulations to follow including the president.

Nineteen years ago today, the Rome Statute came into force. It was a Statute of course that created the International Criminal Court.

This Court, in whose premises I now stand, represents an awful testament to the brutality of man and his proclivity, far too often, in far too many places, to bully, to rape, to destroy cultural property and many other crimes against the most innocent and the most vulnerable.

Time and time again, children, women, and men - civilians - what is most precious in terms of our identity are targeted by acts that have no place in the civilized world.

This Court therefore also represents a promise to the future, that tomorrow need not be as bleak, as painful and as tearful as yesterday.

The scope of this Court which unites 123 State Parties represents humanity, the global South and the global North, the East and the West, all religions from the Christian world to the Muslim world. All religions, all people of faith or of no faith, united by the basic principles that unite us which are our essence: our shared humanity.

This Court is yours. These values are ours. And I look forward to your engagement and your support. From that vantage point, from that common endeavor, marching shoulder to shoulder in this constant march of civilization, this day of International Criminal Justice is also a day of unity of humanity.

In grammatical English we don't say the Major Opposition Party rather We say the Main Political Party okay? Go back to School to improve your English.

and who told you that at the moment ( currently ) CHADEMA is the Main Political Party in Tanzania? Are you okay in your SIMTANK like Head?

What GENTAMYCINE knows is that CHADEMA has turned from being a Political Party and they are now heading to be a Notorious, Dangerous and Terrorist Political Party in Tanzania.

She will end up with poor legacy. Chadema shall prevail while she she will eventually perish.
