📰 @tuttosport:”In case of Donnarumma’s farewell at the end of the season, Milan will accelerate for Lille’s GK Mike Maignan. The french talent is also a Roma’s target, but he already has an agreement with AC Milan management. Maignan could so replace Donnarumma. https://t.co/pL1NaBeW7J

Lucas Hernandez on his family 🗣

“When my brother Théo and I were kids, my dad suddenly left. To this day we don't know much about him, and my mother was there for us and drove us to all training sessions. It was a daily struggle for which I will be grateful to her all my life.” https://t.co/s3f3kEz9zg

📰@Gazzetta_it: Cengiz #Under's name is back into fashion for Milan. The 23-years-old turkish right-wing is estimated around 15M, and his 2.5M salary could be affordable for the Rossoneri. https://t.co/uvaSkQi2EN

Sky journalist describes 'battle atmosphere' at Milanello ahead of UCL decider #SempreMilan

“I can assure you that the atmosphere is anything but peaceful. But I say it in a positive sense, there is a battle atmosphere, with the desire to rewrite history, because Milan haven’t been in the Champions League for 8 years. It would be a joke not to go there after a sitting top four for 37 rounds and many of them in first place,” he stated.

🎙️ Elseid Hysaj's agent (a target of Milan)

"We have not signed with any club, but if we receive an offer, we will evaluate it even an offer from Napoli. Gattuso? I would like him to stay at Napoli, they are very close him and Hysaj. https://t.co/kaZ6FBDyZl

🎙️ Riccardo Trevisani: "Atalanta-Milan? I expect a less joyful match than usual, every little mistake moves the world. Atalanta has a lot to lose because, losing in the final to Juventus, they can finish fourth if they lose to AC Milan." https://t.co/XTUk0ApIjV

Find out the combinations of results required for two of Milan,
Napoli and Juventus to qualify for next season's Champions
League.

The Rossoneri and Partenopei both have 76 points, followed
by the Old Lady on 75.

While Milan visit Atalanta, Napoli host Hellas Verona and Juve
face Bologna at the Stadio Dall’Ara.

It could well go down to a head-to-head record, but there is
also the possibility they could all finish together on 76 points,
sparking a classifica avulsa (a mini-league of their results
against each other).

If two teams finish on level points, their final placement is
determined by:

  • Head-to-head record
  • Head-to-head goal difference
  • Overall goal difference
  • Goals scored
  • Draw

Milan 76 points
If Milan beat Atalanta, they will not only secure a Champions
League spot, but also leapfrog La Dea to take second place.

Milan have a superior head-to-head record with Napoli and
with Juventus.

Napoli 76 points
If Napoli beat Verona, they will guarantee a top four finish.

Napoli have an inferior head-to-head record against Milan and
an identical head-to-head record with Juventus.

When the H2H is equal, it goes to overall goal difference and
Napoli are a long way out in front of Juve (+45 to +36).

Juventus 75 points
Juventus must beat Bologna and hope that either Milan or
Napoli fail to pick up three points.

There is an alternative, as they could draw with Bologna, as
long as both Milan and Napoli lose.

In that case, they would all be on 76 points, setting off a
classifica avulsa – a mini-league made of their results against
each other.

Head-to-head results

Milan

Milan 1-3 Juventus
Juventus 0-3 Milan
Napoli 1-3 Milan
Milan 0-1 Napoli

Napoli

Napoli 1-3 Milan
Milan 0-1 Napoli
Napoli 1-0 Juventus
Juventus 2-1 Napoli

Juventus

Milan 1-3 Juventus
Juventus 0-3 Milan
Napoli 1-0 Juventus
Juventus 2-1 Napoli

Head-to-head table
Should three teams reach 76 points, then this would be the
table and the goal difference in head-to-head games:

Milan: 6 points (+2)

Napoli: 6 points (-1)

Juventus: 6 points (-1)

Milan would therefore be qualified for the Champions League,
whilst the general goal difference between Juventus and
Napoli would decide fourth place.
