👕 UEFA rules don’t allow Santi Giménez to wear the number 7 jersey since Morata already used it in the first phase. So, the Mexican will have to wear a different number in the Champions League than in Serie A.

Emerson Royal’s exclusion from the UCL squad list was an unconfirmed rumor a few days ago, and based on Milan’s deadline day transfers, there is no valid reason for Milan to drop Royal from the squad list — he will stay on it

This January mercato sets us up nicely for the next summer mercato — we should be going for:
As for the fullback positions, I would argue that after Florenzi leaves, Milan should prioritize having Jimenez compete for the RB spot with Walker and Royal while Terracciano and Bartesaghi rotate for Theo on the left
Liberali will also turn 18 in the summer and will have played 3 years at Milan, allowing him to be considered as Milan-raised, so with him, Gabbia, Bartesaghi and Torriani, that covers all 4 Milan-raised spots.
For the Italy-raised, we should buy Sottil permanently while Bondo becomes Italy-raised after this season. With Sportiello and Terracciano (or Ricci if he comes while Terracciano is sold/loaned), we will also cover all 4 Italy-raised spots.
- 5th CB for quality depth/competition (Antonio Silva)
- CDM-regista to replace Bennacer (Ricci)
- RW to replace Chukwueze (either someone very young as an understudy to Pulisic or someone much older with top-level experience like Berardi)
- 2 permanent strikers to replace Felix, Tammy and Jovic who are all leaving and to accommodate the switch to a 2-striker system that Conceicao prefers (both should be second-striker types to complement Gimenez and Camarda)
