Serie A side AC Milan could be set
to make an audacious attempt to
bring back Edinson Cavani to the
Peninsula. The Paris Saint-Germain
forward is having an unhappy time
of late in France and appears to have
no relationship.....................

AC Milan legend Franco Baresi has
empathized with current
Rossoneri boss Filippo Inzaghi for
the injury riddle season he has had
to endure, while stating he believes
the club still have a chance to
qualify for European football next
season.
The Rossoneri have compiled two
consecutive wins in Serie A and sit
in eighth place in the league table
on 41 points, seven points behind
fifth place- the final European
qualification spot.
“Milan is a brand that always has
top image,” said the 54-year-old to
the Milan Channel. “But with
respect to the results on the field
we have to be patient.”

AC Milan are interested in pulling
off a sensational coup by bringing
Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan
Ibrahimovic back to the San Siro.
The 33-year-old left the Rossoneri
in 2012 as the club sought to cut
costs by letting top stars leave, but
recent speculation suggests that a
takeover of the club is imminent
giving Milan more money to spend
in the transfer market.
Calciomercato reports that
Ibrahimovic’s agent, Mino Raiola,
met with Galliani on March 19 to
discuss a contract extension for full-
back Ignazio Abate, but with that
almost a formality the main
purpose of the meeting was in fact
to discuss a return for Ibrahimovic.

AC Milan legend Paolo Maldini has
claimed that the club are great and
unique in the world of football.

Chelsea star Marco van Ginkel could
leave the club in the summer and
join European heavyweights AC Milan
on a permanent deal, according to
the player’s agent.
The 22-year-old Netherlands
international saw his debut season
at Stamford Bridge wiped out by a
serious knee injury.
He was then sent to the San Siro on
loan to rebuild his fitness and form
but was initially a peripheral figure
in the squad resulting in Chelsea
angrily threatening to end the loan
arrangement.
But things have gradually turned
around for the player with him now
seen as an important part of the
Milan team.

Ahead of Sunday’s Derby della
Madonnina in Serie A, former AC
Milan legend Andriy Shevchenko
expressed his joy at fans still
remembering his goals against
Inter.
Shevchenko spent eight years at AC
Milan and scored 127 goals in 208
appearances. The former Rossoneri
striker remains today the Milan
derby’s top-scorer with 14 goals.
In an interview, Shevchenko reveled
in the AC Milan fans’ gratitude at
