AC Milan have not yet made a decision on Simon Kjaer's redemption from Sevilla (for a figure of around € 3.5 million), but reflections are ongoing. The Danish defender is playing very well and has repeatedly expressed his intention to remain with the Rossoneri, but there are parameters that the company takes into consideration. According to Sky Italia, Rangnick will be the manager, technical director, head of the medical sector and much more. An agreement has been reached between the parties, as we have always stated via our correspondent Vito Angele.
However, Paolo Maldini is the current technical director and his contract will run until 2022. He has been proposed the role as Ambassador of the club, a position that he will evaluate and decide whether to accept in the coming days.
The news comes in a positive moment for the team, during which the hard work of the current management and Stefano Pioli is shining through. However, the future will be led by Rangnick and hopefully, he can bring the team back to glory.

Then, Sky Italia confirmed earlier today that Rangnick has already signed a deal with Milan and CEO Ivan Gazidis has informed Maldini of the arrival of the German.
Rangnick will also cover the role of technical director, while Maldini himself has been offered a new position, that of Club Ambassador, to which he will say no.
Now, ANSA (via TMW) are reporting that Milan have responded to the speculation with the following: “No technical decision has been taken or will be taken by Milan before the end of the season, and once again the maximum support and confidence of the leadership in Pioli and the team is confirmed.”
The same source points out that within the club it caused astonishment not only because of the content of the article but also the timing, given it is on the eve of a crucial match like the one against Juventus.
In addition, the club sources stress that whatever conversation Gazidis may have had with the management in recent days has always been oriented to strengthen the club’s structure and its future.

Gazidis’ dream is to work with Rangnick and Maldini together without taking decision making power from Paolo. Gazidis wants both to speak together. Maldini received an offer to work in an operative role and share decisions with Rangnick [Di Marzio]
