Zlatan Ibahimović on Hakan Çalhanoğlu earlier this season-
.
"When I first met Çalhanoğlu, I knew who he was. I said to him: 'Wearing the No. 10 of AC Milan is a great thing because all the players who wore the 10 were great. It comes with enormous pressure. It's a huge responsibility, but if you work hard you can do it,'"
.
"And in the last six months, I saw him work very hard. A player like Çalhanoglu can do it. He did it and has to continue to do it because it's never enough."
.
"You have to have the mindset that you're never satisfied. In the last six months, he played like a real AC Milan No. 10. I hope he continues like that because he can do great things and can do even more."

📰BILD: Milan continues to follow with interest Nordi Mukiele, the French defender of RB Leipzig. He can play as right-back and also as a centre-back.

Posted on November 12, 2020 by Rossonero

AC Milan are interested in Borussia striker Marcus Thuram. The French player could be Elliot’s gift for the Champions.
Europe’s top clubs are all impressed by Marcus Thuram. The son of France legend Lilian Thuram is making a name for himself in Germany with Borussia Monchengladbach. The 23-year-old forward is considered a real talent on the rise, among the players with the highest average rating in the current Bundesliga championship.

AC Milan owners Elliot Management are very pleased with the progress of the squad this season and are ready to gift Pioli a top signing in case of Champions League qualification. Borussia Monchengladbach rate Thuram around 35 million euros.

However, Milan are not the only important club interested in the 23-year-old. Juventus, Barcelona, Inter and Manchester City have also recently set their sights on Thuram as a reinforcement for their attack ahead of next season.

The ductile forward is a fan of the Red and Blacks. “I don’t know why, but when my dad played for Juve, I cheered for Milan. I admired Shevchenko and Crespo“. In his debut season with Monchengladbach Thuram scored 14 goals and assisted 9 while in 11 appearances so far he has found the back of the net on 3 occasions and has provided 5 assists.

📰CorSport: Castillejo could leave Milan to return to Spain, and join Sevilla. To replace him, the club thinks of the possibility of signing Florian Thauvin whose contract expires at the end of the current season. However, the problem is the €5M salary demand.

AC Milan and Inter considering sensational swap deal
Posted on November 13, 2020 by Rossonero

AC Milan and Inter are considering a sensational swap deal with Christian Eriksen joining the Rossoneri and Hakan Calhanoglu moving to Inter.
Inter, Antonio Conte and Christian Eriksen have reached a point of no return. The Italian coach doesn’t considered the Danish star a pillar of his squad and the 28-year-old attacking midfielder declares he has no intention of spending the rest of the season on the bench.

Since joining Inter in January from Tottenham, Eriksen hasn’t been a regular starter at San Siro. This season he has made 7 appearances but hasn’t played a single match for the entire 90 minutes. “This isn’t what I dreamed of. It is a strange situation, as the fans want to see me playing more and so would I, but the coach has different ideas and as a player I have to respect that“.

The former Tottenham is expected to leave Inter, however, he my still remain in Serie A by joining the city rivals of AC Milan. According to Calciomercato.it, AC Milan is a real possibility for Eriksen and a sensational transfer could take place in January. Both clubs are considering a possible swap between Eriksen and Hakan Calhanoglu.

Calhanoglu is a regular starter at Milan but the Rossoneri are having serious problems with his renewal. Sky Sport reports that the Turkey international asks for a new contract of 7 million per season while the club will not go beyond 4 million at most. With no progress being made so far Milan risk losing their attacking midfielder for free in just a few months.

On paper, a swap between Eriksen and Calhanoglu would benefit everyone. Eriksen would play more at Milan while Calhanoglu would get a more lucrative contract from Inter. In addition, his agent Gordon Stipic has already offered Calhanoglu to Inter on one occasion.

📰@86_longo (via @AC_MilanFR): Ajer is still one of the profiles who attract AC Milan's interest. However he's not the first choice: Kristoffer Ajer is liked by Massara, but not as much by Maldini. https://t.co/Cfs7hyNxbZ

📰CorSport: AC Milan will try to reinforce the defense in January, the profiles are Ozan Kabak, Matteo Lovato, and Mohamed Simakan. But, whoever comes will have to wait for his turn behind Simon Kjaer.

🎙️Kjaer: "When I'm having doubts or thinking that there are tactical aspects that can be changed to improve individual and collective performance, coach Pioli listens to me. He wants to help his players. He is the perfect coach for me, there is always a dialogue." https://t.co/Z93bjMADfG

-Do you feel like a leader?

🎙️Kjaer:"Yes, on the pitch and in training. I notice others and give them a helping hand. I try to lead by examples, and I make myself heard. I try to convey messages to the young players, I learned over the years that one should never be satisfied."

🎙️Zambrotta to Gazzetta: "Milan for the Scudetto? Milan seems to have something more: after lockdown the team was almost perfect. The squad is young and there is a particular enthusiasm. The season is long. Juve and Inter are better equipped on paper, and I can't forget Napoli." https://t.co/SRCKNaWrJE

Milan have started the season in the best way possible and they have their midfield to thank for it. In Stefano Pioli’s system, Ismael Bennacer and Franck Kessie have been absolutely crucial.

Given their age (22 and 23), the future is looking bright for Milan and it doesn’t end there. In addition to Sandro Tonali (20), who is on the bench, the Rossoneri could also rely on Tommaso Pobega (21) next season.

The midfielder was loaned out to Spezia at the start of this season and has started his adventure really well. In six league appearances, he has scored two goals and also bagged a brace for Italy’s U21 side last night.

In an interview with Sky Italia, as cited by MilanNews.it, Spezia’s sporting director Mauro Meluso revealed all the details of the loan deal. Fortunately for Milan, they will be able to bring him back for next season if they want to.

“Pobega is in a magical moment and we are happy about this. We are very happy, but we would have been more if Milan had granted us a buy-out option without the buy-back clause.

“However, Milan and their sporting director Massara know well that he is a player of perspective and for this reason, they did not want to give him up permanently,” he stated
