The 22-year-old was restricted to just 11 Serie A
appearances last season, managing just one league
goal. However, after a featuring for Brazil at the London
2012 Olympics, the young forward says he feels fit,
and is not only ready to play, but ready to win. "I have tried to forget all my physical problems. This
is a new season, I am relaxed, happy, and I want to
play as much as possible and win titles with Milan",
he told Corriere dello Sport after netting a brace for the selecao against Sweden. The summer has seen Milan lose stars Zlatan
Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva, who were both sold
to Paris Saint-Germain. Speaking of their loss, Pato
wished his former team-mates the best of luck in
winning this season, but, he joed, only within
France. "Zlatan is a champion and a good friend, and I wish
him and Thiago Silva good luck in trying to win
with PSG," he said. "But, only in France, they must
leave the Champions League to Milan." After having played at the Olympics and in Brazil's
midweek friendly, Pato returned to Milan on
Wednesday evening already in good shape ahead
of the Serie A season.
