They are related. Rich countries tend to have big Gdps and poor countries tend to have small Gdps. There are exceptions but sio nyingi. Ni kama kucompare between wealth and education. Wealthy families tend to be have better educated children than poor families but there are exceptions. So Gdp inaweza kutumika kama kigezo cha wealth
