My dear Lawmaina78 Surely you are misinformed on what happened, where and how it happened..Tanzania is always pro-active rather than reactive like what happened in the case of Kenya.Yes,by so saying I do not mean that terrorist incidences will never happen in Tanzania.God forbid but they might like we already witness in Arusha and Zanzibar. All we do is try protect rather than wait until they have happened. The media ill-reported the move-named operation Kimbunga, for the interest well known. The authorities scrutinized very well to identify them. What was seen was just an implementation of the plan that was underway earlier than 2011.
In 2010 an offer was given for all illegals to legalize their stay in Tz.More than 100,000 were registered and to-date enjoying themselves in Tanzania-the heaven of peace-as Tanzania citizens. othewise they were to go back home..In 2013 the same offer was given. They didn't.so the only option at hand was to get them into buses and send them back home. All procedures were followed. Those you believe to be Tanzanians swept out-its not true. They had just forged documents.documents were fake..but to seek local and international sympathy, they produced such documents but were of no help.....So they had to be repatriated regardless of the country of origin.Whether E.Africa or any other part of the world(like it happened)
