ndio nikasema hawa mashaidi huenda hawana evidence ya kuwashtaki kwa ICC. wngi wa hawa ulisikia kwa mfano walikuwa wanachama wa PNU, na njama waliyokuwa na ICC ni njama ya kisiasa. kwa hivyo tusingetarajia haki itendeke kwa washitakiwa. kuna vitu zatekelezwa chini chini na ole wao walidhani siri yaweza kuwa ya watu wawili.

The meeting at statehouse that hosted mungiki was decided on a 'common-plan' by uhuru and muthaura to plan mass murders. but since evidence linking muthaura is weak and charges against him dropped, then the planned statehouse meeting to execute the murders is now solely 'attributable' to mr. kenyatta and mungiki.

He said the identity of the witness, who is covered by the Hague-based courts witness protection scheme, was confidential. Newspapers in Kenya named him.
Calls by Reuters to the prosecutors office regarding witnesses in the Ruto case were not immediately returned.
Hooper said the prosecution had not formally acknowledged the witnesss position.
He (the witness) was claiming that someone had put pressure on him to produce false testimony, Hooper said.
I think the prosecutors want to satisfy themselves that the witness is withdrawing on a voluntary basis, Hooper said.
Kenyattas lawyers requested on Monday that charges against their client be dropped in part related to the withdrawal of a witness connected to his trial.
