Why Benjamin Netanyahu is no-show at Kasarani, Nairobi

Tuesday November 28 2017

Despite being invited and confirming his attendance, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has not attended the swearing-in of President Kenyatta.

He neither showed up nor was he introduced by Mr Kenyatta at the 60,000-seater Kasarani stadium in the capital Nairobi.

But why?

According to Israeli media, Mr Netanyahu gave the event a wide berth due to fears over his safety.

According to The Israel Times, he was cautioned against attending the event due the “massive crowd” attending inauguration.

“The Shin Bet Security Service has therefore not green-lighted for Netanyahu to appear at Nairobi’s Kasarani Stadium out of concern for his safety,” The Israel Times reported, citing Hebrew media.

Mr Netanyahu was scheduled to attend the event which is being attended by more than 10 heads of state.

They include South Sudan’s Salva Kiir, Zambia’s Edgar Lungu, Rwanda’s Paul Kagame, Botswana’s Ian Khama and Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn.

The Israeli leader is scheduled to attend Mr Kenyatta's party after the inauguration at State House Nairobi.

He will address African leaders at the event and later on hold bilateral talks with some of them before flying out in the evening.

In a letter dated November 2, the Prime Minister congratulated President Kenyatta on his victory.

Early last year, Mr Netanyahu was the first Israeli premier, in decades, to travel to visit Africa.

Why Israeli PM kept off Kasarani

Magufuli is not only famous in Kenya but in the entire world more than 70 presidential invitations fled to him just after starting kicking headlines by his super mode of govern, Kenya is too light for Magufulis popularity across the globe

Go to your primary school and ask them to refund your fees, how level of ignorance you have failed to understand the meaning of fled and past participle of flee and the uses of flee to and flee from? That's astonishing how you managed to login.

[emoji23] [emoji23] [emoji23] [emoji23] [emoji23] Hapana ila phrase "how level of ignorance" ipo sawa grammatical accuracy kabisa pia neno "flee" you may use it in reference to the escaping from or to a person and stand up grammatical correctly sio lazima litumike kwenye geographical area, situations or whatever you may also use to a person.

Ndio raha ya jf wote tunajifunza sio kama ukiwa mkenya basi you are automatically literate to the entire English language au ukiwa mtanzania hujui English language waingereza wenye English yao English inawapiga chenga wanafeli mbaya English lesson itakua mkenya? Wewe pia hamnazo, mbona hao wakenya hawapo sensitive kurekebisha kiswahili kikikosewa ila mtu akikosea English kwa sababu ni lugha ya mabanwa zao ndiyo wanaumia?, hao jamaa bado wapo utumwani ki fikra na mtazamo, hapa hatupo kuangalia lugha, muhimu ni ujumbe kufika

Mkuu mimi ninamrekebisha huyo mkenya anamkosoa mtanzania kwamba ameandika makosa wakati yeye ndio yupo wrong hasa aliposema "how level of ignorance" ni makosa wakati hiyo sentensi ipo sahihi kabisa

my friend(if you allow me to call you that) it is not grammatically correct to say "fleeing to a person" it simply doesn't make any sense. see below, the meaning of flee.

"how level of ignorance" is also grammatically wrong. you cannot start/begin a sentence with an adverb - how; unless it's a question.
