Is President Magufuli an isolationist?

It's utter nonsense to imagine that the seemingly inefficence in fluent English language by jp could be the reason to his absence in the block meetings Heald recently by the respective heads of states.

I think Magufuli has great professional advisors who advised to pick the Clinical management( the means of which is economic friendly) of Covid19 over the hygienist and epidemiological mngt which was adopted by most world countries and it's prooving failure.

Tanzania put its choice right from the start, Brazil followed and Japan does the same.

The whole world is now considering to adopt the clinical mngt to combat the virus.

So, to conclude, our highly distigushed president obviously could not attend such meetings simply because the agendas are absolutely irrelevant to our course.

We all have to be proud of our president at least with regards to his handling of this natural disasters.

Kufundisha kwa Kiingereza (au lugha nyingine yoyote) you have the control on what the audience should hear from you but in discussions you do not have that much control; rather the audience has control of you; they drag you to what they want you to speak! Sasa, shughuli hicho wanachotaka ukiongee hujakielewa au hukijui au vyote kwa pamoja! Sio lelemama.

Tatizo sio lugha, Kiswahili ni official language SADC, EAC, hata translators mbona wanatumika mikutanoni.Kwanza inapendeza sana rais wetu ku promote Kiswahili kwenye meetings kama hizo.
 
Siyo siri Rais Magufuli ni mtata sana, hasomeki. Kwenye hotuba yake mbele ya viongozi wa vyombo vya ulinzi na usalama alitoa wito kwa viongozi wa Africa "wakomalie" kupata msamaha wa madeni badala ya mikopo ya kuinua uchumi kutokana na athari ya korona.

Mimi nilidhani mikutano ya SADC na EAC inayofanyika kwa njia ya mtandao na simu anazopigiwa na marais wenzake angechukulia kuwa ni fursa nzuri kwakuwa mikutano hii ndo jukwaa mwafaka kupaisha ule wito wake, lakini wapi bwana!

He probably knows he got it wrong somewhere and doesnt want to admit it...for an egoistic character it is understandable why he would want give his peers the silent treatment so as to avoid criticism from other regional leaders. It's easier to manage things in his own house as no one can mess with his supreme power, and whatever comes out his mouth would always be praised. Its really just one man's character that is subjecting millions of lives at risk and potentially damage strong international relations Tanzania has formed over the years.

English is just a medium of communication just like any other language.

If Magufuli is not conversant in English, that’s fine. He can use Kiswahili.

Narendra Modi speaks very good English but oftentimes, he opts for Hindi.

Magufuli can use Kiswahili. There’s nothing wrong with it. No shame in it.

Having said that, I’m not here to cape for Magufuli on just about anything and everything.

I look at issues on a case by case basis.

Today, the East African Community heads of state held a virtual meeting sans President Magufuli.

Last week SADC did the same.

President Magufuli has missed several of these types of meetings a number of times now.

Is he an isolationist?

It’s hard to make sense of his absences. Like for example, what made him miss today’s virtual gathering?

Did he have an over-packed docket of things to do [wherever he is at]?

Just downright bizarre!

As trivial as it may sound, maybe there’s some truth to what some people think could be the reason for him skipping these meetings - English.

Maybe he is so self-conscious about his English speaking proficiency and he can’t handle being dragged for it afterwards.

If that’s not the case, then what is it?

To me it doesn’t make any sense why he would skip on these types of meetings especially at a critical time as now.

Can anybody make sense of this nonsense?
