There are very many restaurants in Kenya that make home delivery, way more than in Tz... That is why Uber chose Kenya because of already existing networks... what Ubereats means to the local restaurant industry is now instead of a restaurant making home delivery at a flat rate, they will now be charging exactly according to fuel cost per km.... making home delivery much cheaper than it is now... e.g if Pizza--Inn was charging 2000+'Free delivery' for a pizza, now they will have to sell you same pizza at normal price of 1, 300ksh + 300 for transport according to uber rates saving the customer some 400 ksh and intern lowering the cost of food.They are not bringing nothing new, what they are coming to do you is to lining you up straight for proper looting the little peanut bodaboda and tax drivers earn by the expense of just an app developed in less than 40 minutes and an UBER sticker
