Ngabu it may seem tautological when siphoned literally.... They are two separate entities having an almost similar "meaning in the mind perceiving" but completely different as much as both are on the basis of the disorderliness of the entity itself.

Saying YES you are wrong would be too general and it would be a wrong answer.... Your post carries weight on the following.
I would say YES you are wrong to think tha "Hodgepodge and Potpourri" can not be used in the same line.
- Hodgepodge can not be used with (a) Potpourri.
- You gave an example of "beginner who started" it is an unfair example to the matter.
