Trains alone will transport 1.6 million people a day in Nairobi once renovations and refurbishment of the commuter rail is complete.

We kadanganye watanzania wenzako eti time ndo kila kitu siku izi. Bruh siku izi its all about efficiency and sustainability.
Concorde the fastest passenger jet in the world flying 2× the speed of sound iliekwa retirement mwaka wa 2003 because it wasnt efficient and sustainable enough. The tickets cost were too high and any effort to make it sustainable would simply fail sababu ya mafuta mingi na high maintenance cost. Most airline companies could not afford to buy and use it in their fleet. Ingewafanya unprofitable. Ata Airbus A380 being amongst the fastest airliners in the world, Airbus wamesema watakoma kuproduce new ones sababu haziko sustainable. Airline companies zmerukia medium range jets i.e. 787, a350, 777 etc.. ambazo ni twin engines na ziko efficient kimafuta na pia nauli. And this new jets are actually slower than the jumbos kama a380 & 747's. 'AIRLINES ARE SACRIFICING SPEED FOR EFFICIENCY AND SUSTAINABILITY'
So Kenya made a very sober decision kutumia diesel trains. Reli yetu ni ya mainly freight na kutumia stima ambayo ata miundombinu hatujaweka in place was simply out of the question. Diesel trains were the best option na according to mimi i see no problem, we will upgrade in future when we have adequate infrastructure in place. Hatutaki situation kama ya Ethiopia eti train inakwama siku nzima. Ata kule America na Uchina wanatumia diesel electric trains kusafirisha freight across the vast country side. Kutumia stima kule is simply not sustainable & so is here
