JUBILEE protests IEBC's move on spoilt votes

Mkuu,

hapa sasa nd'o mimi ninaugomvi na lile bunge llopita. Jamaa badili ya kulainisha maswala ya katiba, walikua bize
wanajiongeza mshahara. Sasa leo hii maji kidogo yanazidi unga. Right we gonna have to deal with it as it is.

Najaribu kujiuliza, what is a vote? and what is a ballot paper?

Katiba, inazungumzia "...votes cast in the election" ( na sio "ballot papers" zilizojazwa katika uchaguzi).

Once a ballot paper has been dropped in the ballot box, it becomes a vote!

Hii ngoma itafikia pale ambapo the man with the best lawyer will carry the day.

Over to the learned friends!

Hapa namnukuu Isaack Hassan "For any rejected vote for any candidate, they were being multiplied by eight," said the IEBC chairman.

Rejected vote inaweza vipi kuwa for a certain candidate?

Huyu Isaack, mimi nilipoteza imani kwake kitambo sana. Hebu sasa angalia hio kauli ilivyokaa kiholelaholela
kana kwamba anataka watu wazushe!

Can somebody tell me why there is a huge difference on the number of spoilt votes now and those we had before????

Huge difference....that should tell y'all something!

The lesson I get from the Kenyan experience is the fact that in a tightly contested election each single vote counts and could determine the outcome of the election.
