NDINDA.....buda githurai is high density residential estate meant for the low middle class.....ofcourse in such an estate there is petty crime,even new york which is the world financial centre has lots of crime in places like harlem,queens and brooklyns,so those crimes news are irrelevant,by the way few isolated pics of githu which are not pitureseque cannot dispute the fact githu is a decent estate and a concrete jungle like kariakoo.

They can’t compare .

Kariakoo mpk kufika Port kilometers 4 zaweza fika aisee.
Maana km utakuwa maeneo ya soko kuu itabidi unyooshe na hile road utokee maeneo ya mnazi mmoja uiache uingie maeneo ya anudha kwenda ktk sanam la askar monument ndio uitafute posta ya zaman.

NDINDA frankly i don't see much difference NDINDA i wan't you to seroiusly and CRITICALLY look at these issues-they both lack wide streets and avenues,i don't see any green public spaces/parks considering their density and congestion,they appear to have a grid pattern but went to the dogs along the way,the quality of appartment blocks is wanting in both of them,kariakoo may have few quality towers but thats it,they both LACK significant drainage, FYI githurai is in kiambu county and never benefited from serious urban planning you see in nairobi,as a matter of fact the estates came up during the nyayo dictatorship when the system had gone to the dogs,i would have easily compared it to eastleigh which has the same core function but eastleigh is too advanced due superior urban planning,look ndinda i want you to look up at eastleigh both satelite images and aerial views or may be joburg which is super dense and come back to me.

dar es salaam ni kariakoo peke yake ambapo mitaa ina barabara,maji,majitaka na umeme kwa mpangilio maalumu,na ina majina na namba zake maana imefanana.

Kariakoo most of the building ni ghorofa 10 kwenda juu, hakuna license ya kujenga chini ya ghorofa 10 inayo tolewa kwasasa... eneo lote unalo ona kwenye Google map hivyo hivyo, majengo mengi n marefu, the old ones yanabomolewa yanajengwa kila siku, so hata sasa hivi kuna ujenzi mkubwa tu unaendelea hapo Kariakoo
